In the past two days, the stock price of JAC Motors has been more popular than the Guangzhou Auto Show. The closing price in the past two days has reached 46 yuan, and the market value has exceeded 100 billion yuan. With such a rapid growth, even the former partner, the top new force NIO, can only look up to it now.

However, this is not the daily level of JAC Motors.

In recent years, JAC Motors, as an old man in the car circle, has been tepid. Take 2023 as an example. It delivered 592,500 new cars throughout the year. In terms of ranking, it is already ranked outside the top 20 among all domestic car companies. 2024 is coming to an end, and the situation has not improved much. Data shows that its cumulative sales in the first ten months were 345,200 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 6.28%. Because the market performance has always been mediocre, since JAC Motors went public in 2001, its stock price has fluctuated between 10 and 20 yuan for a long time. Even two months ago, the stock price did not exceed 23 yuan, which is in sharp contrast to the fierce oil in the past few days.

The soaring market value of JAC Motors can be regarded as "getting rich overnight", and the reason why the capital market is so enthusiastic is mainly due to the support of Huawei.

Huawei is now the golden finger that turns stones into gold in China's automobile industry. Its many successful cross-border joint ventures have made it stand out in the capital market.

Looking at the entire automobile market, Huawei's AITO, LUXEED and STELATO, which are jointly developed with SERES, Chery and BAIC, are now performing well in the market. Take AITO as an example. From January to October this year, the cumulative sales volume was 323,484 units, of which the mid-to-high-end M7 and M9 sold 166,510 and 124,731 units respectively. This has set a benchmark for Chinese automobile brands to break through to the high-end.

Those who can be linked to Huawei are basically very popular, and JAC is no exception. Of course, this popularity is given by capital and also brought by Zunjie's new car.

As early as last month at the 2024 World Intelligent Connected Vehicle Conference, Richard Yu, Huawei's executive director, chairman of the Terminal BG, and chairman of the Intelligent Vehicle Solutions BU, revealed that the ultra-high-end brand "Zunjie" jointly created by Huawei and JAC Motors will be officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show and is scheduled to be officially launched before next spring, with an estimated price of more than one million yuan. Not long ago, a circle of friends certified as an official staff member of JAC Passenger Vehicles showed a photo of Zunjie setting off for Guangzhou.

The "half-covered face" marketing, coupled with Huawei's influence, has attracted a lot of attention before the new car is even launched.

On November 10, Zunjie Auto opened an official account on the Douyin platform and certified it as "Huawei Terminal Co., Ltd." Even though it has not released any works yet, the account has attracted 21,000 fans in two days. It has to be said that as the "fourth realm" of Hongmeng Intelligent Driving, Zunjie has already raised the "expectation value" to the peak.

The reason why everyone is looking forward to it is not entirely because of its pre-release marketing. It is said that the new car of Zunjie will compete with ultra-luxury brands such as Maybach and Rolls-Royce, and provide a higher-end, more luxurious and more comfortable driving experience.

From the fragmentary information that has been exposed, the public can vaguely sense the ambition of "Zunjie".

Some media outlets revealed that when Huawei applied for the brand trademark for Zunjie, it also registered a vertical logo. From the picture, it looks like a polygonal diamond-cut shape. Combined with the shape and vehicle positioning, it is likely to create a domestic "Rolls-Royce". From the avatar of its registered Douyin account, its logo is composed of a vertical hexagon supplemented by several diamond-cut elements, using an abstract geometric design. If it is a vertical logo that can be raised and lowered, the actual effect is estimated to be more shocking.

At the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, Zunjie made its mysterious debut in the form of a private tasting. Together with Wenjie, Zhijie, and Xiangjie, the "Four Realms" appeared on the same stage for the first time. Although Huawei has a strong confidentiality about Zunjie, there is basically not much official information. However, the omnipotent netizens still "digged" some information.

The front face design of Zunjie will most likely adopt a closed grille, and a through-type LED light strip should be added in the center, which will cooperate with Huawei xPixel smart car lights to enhance the technological sense of the entire vehicle.

From the styling point of view, this car adopts a fastback design. The wheel shape in the spy photos looks like two types of wheel rims: dense multi-spoke and "pancake" rims, similar to the Maybach series. Although the shape of the taillights has not been exposed, it is estimated that the design will not be too exaggerated if it is comparable to luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce and Maybach.

On the evening of November 13, a blogger exposed the interior of the Zunjie. From the relevant video content, we can see that the Zunjie is equipped with a suspended full LCD instrument, a central control screen and a passenger entertainment screen. The triple screen layout is very grand. According to the video of the vehicle driving, it can be simply judged that the new car should be equipped with rear-wheel steering, and the turning radius is expected to be very small.

According to reports, the new car will be equipped with a series of new technologies from Huawei, and may also be the first to launch Huawei Qiankun ADS 4.0, equipped with Huawei's giant whale battery, intelligent electric drive DriveONE, air suspension and full-domain 800V architecture.

Due to limited information, it is not known what the first model will be. Previously, everyone speculated that the new model of Zunjie would be an MPV, but from the information that has been exposed, the first model of Zunjie should be a sedan. However, no matter what model it is, it is estimated that Huawei's most advanced technology will be stacked on it, and there is no suspense about its strength.

In the past few decades, we have basically not seen the emergence of real top luxury brands among Chinese automakers. We are used to looking up at foreign luxury brands such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, McLaren, Bugatti, Ferrari, Maybach, Koenigsegg, etc. This time, Zunjie is at the highest level among the "four realms" in terms of brand positioning, and plans to launch an MPV model, which means that this brand will most likely follow the full-link luxury path.

Capital always has a sense of smell that is one step ahead of others. Both JAC and Huawei should have been prepared to stir up the luxury market. Perhaps this is a good opportunity for Chinese auto brands to enter the top luxury car market. JAC Motors may really be able to change its fate and soar to the sky.
