Will iPhone 8 be popular in China if it supports dual SIM cards?

According to TechRadar, the iPhone 8 that Apple will release later this year may be the best iPhone ever, but sources have pointed out that this best iPhone is unlikely to be equipped with dual SIM dual standby. Why is this? At the MWC2017 conference earlier, a representative of a mobile operator said: " The fact is that operators make too much money from international roaming services. The addition of a second SIM card will evaporate their profits, so the best mobile phones do not support dual SIM cards. " In other words, the iPhone 8 does not support dual SIM dual standby not because Apple is lazy, but because of the mobile operators who sell iPhones. Even the best mobile phone manufacturers need to "kneel down" to major operators. If the iPhone 8 supports dual SIM cards, users can use the SIM card they use daily to make calls or send text messages abroad, and then use the SIM card of a foreign operator to use data. You know, the cost of international roaming traffic is not cheap at all. Currently, the entry-level prices for international roaming packages offered by the four major mobile operators in the United States are: AT&T: $40 for 200MB of traffic, and 15-25 cents/MB for traffic exceeding that; Verizon: $25/100MB, unlimited text messaging service costs $40, but only 100 text messages can be sent; Sprint: 100MB of 3G traffic costs $15, limited to 24 hours; T-Mobile: $25 per month, unlimited traffic, but the network speed is only 256kbps. TechRadar believes that Apple is likely to change the current situation where operators "decided" that smartphones do not support dual SIM cards. Apple SIM will make dual SIM cards a software patch that does not take up extra space. However, as things stand, although Apple can convince operators to give up adding its own logo and some other applications to the iPhone, it is not likely to make the iPhone 8 support dual SIM cards.
