WeChat has started internal testing of the new version 5.5. The internal trial version allows Tencent employees who participate in the internal test to send some new styles of messages on WeChat, while outsiders who click in will see "Spoilers end here". In fact, the new feature that WeChat is testing is micro-video.

According to the description of the internal test participants, users can shoot a short video in the chat to let your friends see the world in front of you; you can also shoot a short video in the Moments to make your pictures move. Since WeChat currently supports shooting and sending videos in chats, you will be able to browse Moments in new ways in the future.

In addition to introducing the micro-video function, the WeChat 5.5 beta version also revamped the game center and optimized its compatibility with iOS 8.
