The four most common types of pimples on the hands, face, and neck may not be ordinary skin diseases!

When it comes to HPV (human papillomavirus), diseases such as cervical cancer and genital warts will automatically come to people's minds. Because it is mainly transmitted through sexual behavior, people who are infected will be branded as having a chaotic and immoral private life.

In fact, being infected with HPV does not necessarily mean having a chaotic private life, and being infected does not necessarily mean you will get cervical cancer or genital warts 100%. Skin infection is more common!

Warts (common warts)

Yes, you can't imagine it, right? The warts that often grow on our hands are also a type of HPV infection. If you look closely at the appearance of the warts, you will find that they are also densely packed with papillae-like structures.

This type of infection is certainly not caused by sexual intercourse, but can be transmitted through direct contact, especially when there are wounds on the skin, the virus can infect the inside through the wounds.

Flat warts

They often grow on the face and are similar in color to the skin, or pink and slightly raised.

In addition to contact transmission, flat warts can also be indirectly transmitted through sharing towels, brushes and other items in daily life. Even trauma and excessive sun exposure may induce infection, which cannot represent private life.

Filiform warts

They mainly grow on the neck, armpits and other areas where sweating occurs frequently. They are long and slender in shape, like small pieces of meat, and may have keratinization at the top.

The reason why they grow in these places is that sweat stimulates the local skin for a long time, reducing the barrier function of the local skin, making it more susceptible to HPV infection.

If you have filiform warts, it is not recommended to use a bath towel when taking a bath, as this may cause the warts to proliferate and increase the chance of infection.

Foot warts (plantar warts)

It grows on the soles of the feet and looks a bit like corns, but it is also very different. The surface of foot warts is rough and has many small black spots on it.

Foot warts are also mainly transmitted through contact, such as wearing public slippers in a bathhouse, sharing tools in a pedicure shop, etc.; while corns are caused by long-term pressure or friction.

The HPV virus family is extremely large, with more than 200 subtypes. Different types of HPV invade different tissues and cause different harmfulness.

From the perspective of tissue invasion, HPV viruses are divided into two categories: skin type and mucosal type; from the perspective of the harmfulness of the virus, they are divided into low-risk type and high-risk type:

Low-risk HPV infection on the skin causes the various warts mentioned above, while low-risk HPV infection on the mucous membranes causes the despised genital warts.

These low-risk types basically do not cause cancer, but only cause some benign hyperplasia. They can be cured through laser, freezing, photodynamic therapy, etc., plus auxiliary drug treatment.

High-risk HPV is the culprit that causes various cancers. For example, types 16 and 18 HPV mainly cause cervical cancer, while types 5 and 8 HPV mainly cause vulvar cancer.

In most cases, the human immune system can automatically clear these viruses, but when the immunity is reduced or in some special circumstances, the virus cannot be completely cleared, which will cause persistent or recurrent infections, thereby inducing precancerous lesions and then developing into cancer.

In fact, it can be seen that the parts of the body infected by high-risk HPV are all the "lower three roads" of the human body, such as common cervical cancer, penile cancer, anal cancer, etc., which are mostly transmitted through sex. Even oral cancer that occurs in the mouth may be closely related to sex. A research article in the Journal of the American Medical Association pointed out that almost 2/3 of oral cancers in the United States and many Western countries are directly related to infection with HPV 16 subtype strains. Uh~ you know what it means!

Therefore, these sexual behaviors are really unacceptable and will greatly increase the risk of infection:

Having sex too early

Some people are still single at the age of 30, while others have rich love histories as soon as they become adults. Although their lives are "colorful", it is not necessarily a good thing. The younger the age of first sexual intercourse, the higher the probability of cervical cancer.

First, they are young and ignorant about physiological knowledge and hygiene, which increases the chance of infection;

Second, the cervical tissue cells of underage women have not yet matured, their immune systems are not perfect, their resistance is low, and they are more sensitive to the stimulation of carcinogens.

Therefore, girls should never try the forbidden fruit too early just for the sake of momentary pleasure.

Multiple sexual partners

With the liberalization of sexual concepts, many "playful" people have maintained intimate relationships with multiple people, and even engaged in group sex, in pursuit of excitement. Regardless of gender, the more partners one has, the higher the probability of infection, which can not only lead to cross-infection, but also to repeated HPV infection, which directly increases the risk of cancer.

Male foreskin is too long

This is easy to understand. Once the foreskin is long, it is easy to harbor dirt and filth. If you do not pay attention to cleaning, the foreskin will become a paradise for bacteria, which will not only increase the risk of various inflammations, but may also induce penile cancer.

During intercourse, it is easier to bring dirt into the woman's body, increasing the chance of infection.

Not paying attention to contraception

Some people forget to use contraception when they are having sex, and the result is predictable - unwanted pregnancy. But how harmful is abortion? I'm sure those who surf the Internet often have seen such content: too many abortions, no more abortions, otherwise you will be infertile for life; because of abortions, now you have habitual abortions...

In addition, abortion is very harmful to the reproductive organs, increasing the chance of bacterial and viral infection, various gynecological diseases will follow, and the risk of cervical cancer will also be greatly increased.

So don't trust him anymore: "Be pregnant, I will take responsibility"! I want to say: Only when you take responsibility for yourself can you be the most reliable!
