Apple releases iOS 8.1.2 update: Input method bug still exists

On December 10, Apple officially released the iOS 8.1.2 system update. This update mainly fixes the previous problem of inexplicable disappearance of iTunes purchased ringtones. Currently, users in China have also received update prompts.

The devices supported by this update include:

·iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus

·iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3

iPod touch (5th generation)

As always, users are advised to back up their devices before updating to avoid unexpected data loss.

However, we also verified an input method bug reported by netizens before at *** time: in the iMessage recipient column, typing the word "大" using the Chinese handwriting input method will cause the message to crash. Unfortunately, this bug still exists in iOS 8.1.2.

The iOS 8.1.2 update further proves that iOS 8 is the most frequently updated version of the operating system in Apple's history. Due to frequent bugs, Apple has been busy fixing the bugs since it was pushed to users in mid-September. In addition, there are reports that the iOS 8.2 system focusing on WatchKit is about to be released. Apple is really busy.
