iOS 9's "Wallet" feature will allow merchants to send product updates

Recently, Apple announced information related to the iAd advertising platform through its official blog. In the future, in addition to seeing cards and coupons in the "Wallet" application, we will also receive newsletters from merchants.

Allegedly, Apple allows merchants to send dynamic product updates directly to the wallet application (currently Passbook) through the iAd platform, which can be location-related or based on user needs. Of course, it would be even better if they could use attractive ads to attract new customers.

In addition, the content of the newsletter can also change according to the micro-location information provided by iBeacon, or the user's age, gender, address and other data. At the same time, these newsletters and advertisements can be pushed to the Apple Watch smartwatch at the same time.

Although flash ads are a relatively meaningful feature for wallet apps and even iOS 9, not every user will like them. Some people will find them convenient, but naturally some people will feel disturbed. Fortunately, sources said that users will need to manually enable or disable the receipt of flash messages.
