Apple opens the floodgates: Developers can now submit iOS 9 software

Not only iOS 9, but also watchOS 2 and OS X El Capitan software can be submitted for review. Programmers should hurry up and grab a spot.

Pre-orders for the new phones have already begun, and the new software is also coming soon. According to WeiPhone, Apple's official website has recently issued a notice through the developer center that they have begun accepting software submissions that are compatible with iOS 9, watchOS 2, and OS X El Capitan, which means that users can use the new software as soon as the new system is officially launched. According to Apple's plan, the official versions of iOS 9 and watchOS 2 will be officially launched next Wednesday, September 16, while the official version of OS X El Capitan will not be released until September 30.

Apple also sent an email to developers: "The latest watchOS, iOS, and OS X systems will soon be pushed to millions of users. Please make sure your software is compatible with the latest systems."

For developers, perhaps the most difficult thing is to develop new software for iOS 9, because Apple released a large tablet with a screen size of 12.9 inches this year. Developers must not only adapt the software size to the large screen of iPad Pro, but also take into account the high-definition resolution of iPad Pro. Perhaps it is precisely because of the difficulty of developing software that the iPad Pro is not launched so early, and developers still have nearly two months to prepare.

About 10 days after the official release of iOS 9, iPhone 6s/6s Plus will be available in the first regions. Although there are no new models of Apple Watch this year, the emergence of watchOS 2 allows developers to develop independent software for Apple Watch, which is also a major update. As for OS X El Capitan, perhaps we will see some Mac products usher in updates after the official version is launched.
