The latest survey by MyHiringClub.com found that the average annual salary of Swiss IT professionals is US$171,465 (about RMB 1.093 million), ranking first in the world. The United States ranks third, with an average annual salary of about US$132,877 (about RMB 843,000).

Compared with the data of the same period last year, China and India have swapped positions. China has risen to the eighth from the bottom in the world, with an average annual salary of US$42,689 (about RMB 272,000). India, which regards IT technicians as its most competitive export, has dropped to the seventh from the bottom in the world with an average annual salary of US$41,213 (about RMB 263,000). The other names have not changed much, and Bulgaria is still ranked last.

Their CEO Rajesh Kumar then said that low-level jobs are being moved to lower-paying regions. The number of IT jobs remaining in Western Europe and the United States may have decreased, but their eligibility and complexity have increased. Regarding India's ranking change, he added:

"There is more evidence that India is moving up the value chain for skilled professionals. The cost advantage currently seen may not be the only growth driver in the future."

MyHiringClub.com completed this survey by directly consulting 10,000 companies around the world about the salaries of their IT practitioners. However, the relationship between salary and local purchasing power levels was not taken into account, making this survey lack a certain degree of rigor.
