Amazon, Apple and Google fall out of top 10

When you think of the most respected companies or businesses, who comes to your mind first?

In different fields, there may be different associations. For example, in the watch industry, Swiss watches are recognized by the public, especially Rolex, Omega and other brands, which have won the market trust with their unique craftsmanship. In fact, Rolex does appear on this list of the top 10.

This list of "Most Respected Companies" comes from the reputation consulting firm The Reputation Institute. The consulting firm interviewed more than 83,000 Americans and evaluated the surveyed companies from multiple aspects. The judging criteria included products, services, innovation, work environment, management, leadership and performance.

As you can see, Amazon tops the list, Samsung ranks third, and Intel is also on the list in eighth place.

Perhaps what most ordinary consumers did not expect is that giants such as Apple, Google and Microsoft, which are thriving in the Internet field, are not on the list. You should know that magazines such as Forbes and Fortune also publish similar rankings such as "World's Best" or "World's Most Respected" every year, and Apple and Google are basically at the top, so it is somewhat surprising.
