iOS13.4beta5 experience sharing

Apple released the fifth beta of iOS 13.4 early this morning, but there are still not many updates. Version number: 13.4 (17E5255a).

The devices for this experience are: iPhone11Pro Max, iPhoneX, iPhone7Plus

This experience sharing is because my MacBook Air screen is broken and I have not found a repair. This time I can use iPad to write. I am not so familiar with the iPadOS version of WPS, so the pictures are a little different from before. Please bear with me!!!

1. Update content

This update does not add any new features. After using this version for a day, the performance of third-party software is much more stable than before, and there will be no more freezing. The fluency has been improved a bit, and the overall response speed of 7P feels faster than before.

Now if your iPhone uses dual SIM cards, it will only show the carrier using the cellular data SIM card on the lock screen, and the other card will not be displayed.

2. Existing Problems

• The old three problems still cannot be solved
• Some software still shows running in the background when not in use, and consumes a lot of power in standby mode. If you encounter this problem, it is recommended to use Aisi Assistant to report data to downgrade to iOS13.3.1. This problem currently exists in the first four versions. It does not exist on all devices, but only on some devices. It is not known whether iOS13.4beta5 has fixed this problem. We will give you feedback later.

3. Test Results

1. Signal

The test was conducted on two iPhoneXs, one equipped with iOS13.3.1 and the other with iOS13.4beta5. The operator was China Mobile, and the test software was SpeedTest. Multiple tests were conducted to compare the network speeds of the two devices.

The basic performance is the same as the previous version. The performance of iPhoneX on Wi-Fi is much lower than that of iOS13.3.1 official version. The performance on 4G is better.

2. Battery life and heating

This time, a four-hour battery life test was used, and the test items were Weibo, music, games, TikTok, and screen-off standby. The screen-off standby test was 2 hours, and the other four test items were half an hour each. Turn off automatic brightness adjustment, and use Siri to adjust the brightness to 50%, and the volume to 50%. (The table is presented in a bar graph. The longer the bar, the greater the power consumption, and the lower the bar, the lower the power consumption.)

4. Experience Summary

After the iOS13.4beta5 update, the overall feeling is similar to iOS13.4beta4. The battery life, signal, heating and other aspects of the test are the same as the previous version. The fluency of 7P has been improved a little, and other models do not seem to have changed much. It is still not recommended to update from the official version to this system.
