New MacBook Air still has sleep-dead issues

Some 2013 MacBook Air users have reported that when they try to wake the machine from sleep, it crashes, freezes, and blacks the screen. The only solution is a hard reboot. This problem has been complained by users for months. Apple updated the MacBook Air a few days ago with a faster processor. However, apart from the faster processor, the MacBook Air is essentially the same as the 2013 model, so we have seen users report crashes on wakeup. Some foreign users who bought the newly updated MacBook Air reported on Apple's official technical support forum that the notebook still has some defects of the "previous generation" products, one of which is the crash on wakeup. In February this year, it was reported that Apple was preparing to release an update to fix the system crash problem when waking the 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air launched in 2013 from sleep, but the update has not yet been seen. It is understood that Apple's technicians have not yet disclosed the date of the MacBook Air firmware update, and Apple spokespersons have not commented on it.
