Google Android makes important changes! Some low-memory devices are no longer supported

On July 22, according to XDA reports, a recent internal document from Google showed that in order to ensure the user's operating experience, the official plans to adjust the permissions of the Android Go system running on small-memory devices.

The document revealed that starting from the fourth quarter of this year, Google will require all Android 10 devices with less than 2GB of memory to be pre-installed with Android Go, and after the release of Android 11, Google services will no longer be provided for Android devices with 512MB of memory.

It is understood that large-memory mobile phones are becoming more and more popular, and some flagship products even have 16GB of running memory. The Android system ecosystem continues to improve with the increase of mobile phone memory, but it is not very friendly to small-memory devices. In response, Google has created the Android Go system specifically for entry-level models with small memory. It simplifies the current Android and can run smoothly on devices with 1GB or less.

Google's original intention of launching the Android Go system is to ensure that users of devices with small memory can still have a relatively comfortable user experience. In the future, it will stop providing services for Android devices with 512MB memory, so that Android Go can run more smoothly on devices with 1GB or 2GB memory. What do you think about this?
