Tencent Weibo is officially closed: Currently unable to log in, users can apply for personal content backup

On September 29, at 23:59 last night, Tencent Weibo officially stopped operating. Currently, users can no longer log in to Tencent Weibo, but they can still back up their data.

Recently, on September 4, Tencent Weibo announced that it would stop service and operation due to business adjustments. At the same time, Tencent Weibo reminded users that if necessary, they can apply for a backup of their personal Weibo content before the service is stopped. After the application is successfully submitted, Tencent Weibo will send the relevant backup content to the QQ mailbox corresponding to the QQ number used by the user to log in to Tencent Weibo within 14 working days.

According to the data, Tencent Weibo was established on April 1, 2010, and was launched by Tencent. It is a Twitter-like website that provides microblogging services. Users can use Tencent Weibo through web pages, mobile phones, QQ clients, QQ Space, and email. On September 30, 2011, Tencent Weibo announced that the number of registered users on the platform exceeded 310 million.
