How to enable Safe Browsing on Chrome for Android

The Chrome browser for Android has recently gained the Safety Check feature, and Google is also planning to bring the Enhanced Protection feature from the desktop to the Android platform. This feature can now be enabled on Chrome for Android, and this article will focus on how to enable it.

The new Enhanced Safe browsing feature is now available on Chrome desktop. Users can go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Security Check > Safe Browsing and enable it, which can protect users from malicious websites in real time.

The official introduction reads: "Provide you with faster and more proactive protection from dangerous websites, downloads, or extensions. The system will warn you when your password is leaked. You need to send browsing data to Google."

The Safe Browsing Blocklist API will update the list of unsafe websites every 30 minutes, but it should be noted that if you want Chrome to protect you better, you will need to send more data to Google.

When enabled on Chrome, Enhanced Protection primarily provides

How to enable

1. Equipped with the latest Chrome Canary channel version

2. Visit chrome://flags

3. Enable the following Flags

• Safe Browsing Enhanced Protection on Android
• Safe Browsing Section on Android

4. Restart your browser

5. Click the menu icon to enter the Privacy and Security page

6. Select "Enhanced Protection" in the Safe Browsing area
