How to open the "All Photos" permission in iOS 14

Apple has brought new privacy management features in iOS 14. The most eye-catching one is the album permissions. It can grant applications access to a single photo without handing over the entire album.

As one of the main new features of iOS 14, this feature quickly attracted the attention of developers. For example, Instagram or China's Sina Weibo provide the option of managing photo authorizations in the application. After clicking, the system-level photo selection interface is directly brought up, making it convenient for users to adjust the number of photo authorizations.

If the user chooses to grant "selected photos", the application photos can also be saved locally normally. In contrast, in the past, completely denying the application access to the album would also result in the inability to save the pictures in the application locally.

However, some applications still want users to open access rights to all photos. For example, the current version of WeChat recommends that users grant complete album access rights. Although users can continue to grant "selected photos" permissions, there is no option to quickly adjust accessible photos. Users still need to enter the system's "Settings" to make changes, but fortunately it also provides a quick entry that allows you to jump directly to the corresponding menu in "Settings".

Some apps seem to be taking a passive approach, that is, keeping the original design, and users need to manually open the system "Settings" to adjust it, such as Twitter currently does.

Of course, the above two situations may also be caused by the fact that developers have not yet completed the adaptation. After all, it has not been long since the official push of iOS 14. If you really don’t want to completely release the album permissions at this stage, and don’t want to open the system settings every time, you can also directly use the share button in the photo app to send pictures to the application.
