On December 16, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued another document to remove 26 apps from the 60 apps that had violated user rights that had not been rectified as required.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated in the article that after the last notification of the operating entities of the relevant software, after verification and re-inspection by a third-party testing agency, 19 software programs had not completed the rectification work in accordance with the requirements of the department, so they were removed from the shelves in accordance with regulations. In the list announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology this time, we saw some familiar software, such as "Jiuyuan Airlines", "Xiaoyi Camera", "Address Book Sync Assistant", "Weimai Circle", etc., which have many users.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also introduced the details of the action to remove the relevant apps, which is based on the requirements of laws and regulatory documents such as the "Network Security Law" and the "Interim Provisions on the Pre-installation and Distribution Management of Mobile Smart Terminal Application Software" (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology [2016] No. 407). At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology requires relevant application stores to immediately organize the removal of the application software on the list after the release of this notice. As of press time, Mobile China has tried to search for the above-mentioned software in multiple application stores, and some of them have been removed.
