Official release is imminent, Apple: App Store now open for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 app submissions

September 15 news: Early this morning, Apple told developers that the App Store is now open for iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15 app submissions.

Apple said that the mobile operating systems iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be launched to users around the world soon. Developers can use asynchronous functions in Swift to refactor code to improve the performance of apps. Use SwiftUI to enhance apps and add new features such as optimized list views, better search experiences, and support for controlling focus areas.

In addition, developers can also use the new notification API to provide Safari browser web extensions.

Apple reminds developers to use Xcode 13 release candidate versions to build apps, test them on devices running iOS 15, iPadOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15 release candidate versions, and then submit them for review.

Starting April 2022, all iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built using Xcode 13 and the iOS 15/watchOS 8 SDK.
