iFixit disassembles iPhone 13 Pro: Changes in internal structure make repairs more difficult

Recently, iFixit, a well-known foreign repair organization, disassembled the iPhone 13 Pro. Although Apple's adjustments to the internal structure have made repairs easier in some aspects, repairs have become more difficult overall. iFixit said that there are multiple difficulties in the entire disassembly process, the first of which is the step of heating and prying the screen. The upper sensor cable of the iPhone 13 Pro was pointed out to be "terribly thin and too short", which could lead to disaster if you are not careful. Fortunately, there were no obvious difficulties in the rest of the journey.

This year’s larger L-shaped battery is still a pain point because it’s not easy to remove. The good news is that replacing the battery no longer causes the phone to be locked. You’ll still get the scary warning message, but the iPhone 13 Pro will still work fine.

Replacing the earpiece speaker, on the other hand, will require a bit more work, as it's now located inside the chassis rather than attached to the back of the display. This means you can't get to it without removing the logic board, which in turn requires removing other parts of the iPhone 13 Pro first. Fortunately, this isn't one of the most commonly damaged parts on a smartphone.
