Google Play's Best Apps of 2021 are out

This Monday, Google Play announced the best list of 2021 and broke down the top apps and games for tablets, Wear OS, and Google TV. In the official announcement, it wrote: "This year, we have developed the ability to remain calm and learn to face things that break expectations calmly. During this period, these amazing apps helped us calm our minds, pursue creativity, and find inspiration. They are our selections for the best Play apps of 2021."

Similar to last year's list, this year's Best of the Best list is full of apps focused on personal growth. This year's winners have found creative, often meditative ways to help users understand themselves on a deeper level. Balance, which won the Best of 2021 award, encourages people to find their center through personalized meditations; Moonly provides prompts and guidance based on the lunar calendar; and Laughscape helps people achieve a meditative state through laughter.
