How APP ranking manipulation steals iTunes accounts and the harm it causes to CPs

Why do apps steal real users’ iTunes accounts to manipulate the rankings?
With the adjustment of Apple's algorithm, the behavioral identification of accounts has become more stringent. Accounts that are automatically registered at the source of APP ranking manipulation do not have real user behavior (including complete download, activation, uninstallation of APP, etc.), so their ranking weight is not as good as accounts with real user behavior when manipulating the rankings.
It is still difficult to completely simulate real user behavior with current APP ranking technology, so stealing accounts has become a way.

Account theft method 1: Hackers break into the mail server, steal a large number of accounts and then compare them with iTunes account filters
Remember the theft of a large website’s mailbox database last year? These tens of millions of accounts included email addresses and passwords, and were once sold on Taobao.
The hacker will write a program to try to log in to iTunes one by one using these accounts and filter out the available accounts. There may be hundreds of thousands of them that overlap with iTunes accounts.

Account theft method 2: Jailbreak products require you to enter your iTunes account
Many iOS assistant software can help you install APP in jailbroken or non-jailbroken state. For example, some assistant software shown in the following picture will require users to log in and fill in AppleID, that is, iTunes account, and password.
This part of data resources can become the target of hackers, and of course the possibility of shady transactions cannot be ruled out.

Account theft method three: APP phishing to obtain email registration
When registering an account for some games or applications, you must use an email address. Many friends will use an iTunes account. The source of some APP ranking manipulation is actually the APP developers, who can obtain Apple ID through this phishing method.

If you use stolen accounts to cheat on the rankings, your APP may be at risk of being removed from the shelves .<br />We all know that after you give your Apple ID to a friend's iOS device, Apple will send you an email, which basically means: "Your Apple ID was used to log in and download on a non-user device. If this is your behavior, please ignore this email."
If a stolen account is used to flash a certain APP, Apple will send a large number of such emails to the user whose account was hacked. Some users will vent their anger in the APP comments, while others will complain to Apple. If Apple continues to receive such complaints, it may send a warning letter to the developer, or even remove the product directly from the shelves.

Finally, I need to say this very seriously: hacking accounts and using stolen accounts to cheat are both illegal. They have violated the personal rights of the users of the stolen accounts, and you will be sent to jail!
