Visitors to the Patago Titanosaur will be able to see the skeleton of this dinosaur at the Natural History Museum in London, marking the first time this dinosaur has been exhibited in Europe.
Weight: 57 tons
Length: 37.5 meters

Patago Titanosaurus was not only enormous, but it may also have been the longest dinosaur ever known. This giant is believed to have stood approximately eight meters tall. A single leg bone alone was over two meters long, making it taller than the average person!
In fact, Patago Titanosaurus weighed more than nine times as much as an African elephant, which is the largest land animal in the world today.
Patago Titanosaurus lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 101 million years ago.
The fossils of this prehistoric reptile were discovered in Chubut Province, Argentina. It is one of the most complete Titanosaurs ever discovered, thus giving its size a more definitive account compared to other dinosaurs sometimes referred to as the largest in the world, such as Puertasaurus and Argentinosaurus.
