At the Moscow Zoo in Russia, a newborn orangutan, after watching its parents skillfully climb and walk on ropes within its enclosure, decided to muster the courage to try it on its own. Although the newborn orangutan seemed a little nervous at first, it quickly got the hang of it and adapted to walking on the ropes.

When zookeepers informed nearby visitors of this special moment, a crowd quickly gathered. Keen amateur photographer Sergei Gladyshev successfully captured the entire event with his camera.
He said, “Chimpanzees are my favorite animals. The chimpanzees at the Moscow Zoo always put on a good show from time to time, and this time was no exception. You can tell that this little guy is not shy at all. What’s even more surprising is that this little chimpanzee moves with confidence. It looks like it has walked the rope hundreds of times. The zookeeper told everyone that this was its first time trying to walk the rope, and I’m so happy that I was able to record the whole process with my camera.”
