The form design of an activity mainly includes the determination of the activity theme, the planning of the activity content, and the design of the activity form.

  • First, determine the theme of the activity, and in the process of confirming the theme, further clarify the focus of the activity;
  • Next, list the relevant content resources that can be used for the activity, because the content planning in this stage is related to the preparation of subsequent resources, whether it is self-produced or introduced from outside;
  • Finally, combine the theme and content of the event to design a corresponding form for the event, that is, a down-to-earth way of playing. Common ways of playing include lotteries, fragment collection, level-breaking, development, etc.
  • In addition, operators must be clear that the form of the activity serves the goals and content of the activity, and must avoid formalism and deviating from the goals of the activity.

The rhythm design of an activity mainly refers to the arrangement of activity time. The design of other contents of the comprehensive activity plan and the activity rhythm design in the activity planning stage can usually be divided into the following three time periods.

When designing the mechanism of an activity, it is necessary to consider the activity rules, activity reward mechanism, and activity promotion mechanism.

The design of activity rules is to reasonably integrate the activity gameplay with the activity purpose, and to promote the achievement of activity goals through activity rules;

The activity reward mechanism is a key factor in stimulating the enthusiasm of students. Usually in the activity rules, we have expressed the behaviors we hope students will perform. Then in the activity reward mechanism, we need to fully consider how to reward students for their positive behaviors.

The event promotion mechanism is that the operating staff uses promotional means such as the focus of event promotion, available event promotion channels, and event promotion rhythm to continuously let students know, understand, and become familiar with the event, thereby strengthening the influence and brand power of the event.

Up to now, the operation staff has basically had a rough plan for the entire event. However, there is one very important point that must not be overlooked, and that is the event budget. By integrating the above-mentioned event design, development, resources, publicity, rewards and other contents, a preliminary budget is made for the event to predict the input-output ratio between the event budget and the event goals, so as to more rationally evaluate the rationality of the event planning.
