Zhihu traffic-generating method, collection!

Recently, I discovered a quick way to attract followers, which increased by 2,000+ in one week. Today, I will reveal the whole secret to you! At the beginning of April, when I was attracting traffic on Zhihu, I found a Zhihu circle (entrepreneurship circle). The number of people joining in one week was close to 2,500, and it has been occupying the first place in the circle industry list in recent times.

It has also been on the list of new circles several times, and these are the reasons why people join the circle.

The owner of this circle has not posted any advertisements yet, nor has he dealt with any advertisements in the circle. However, according to my observation, if they post a lead-generating post in this circle, they can get responses from about 30 people.

In other words, if we attract traffic like this every day, it will be easy to add 30 people a day.

My opinion on the circle:

1. In the short term, this method can directly lead traffic to WeChat, which is much easier than other platforms;

2. In the long run, if Zhihu develops the circle section, it will be very similar to platforms such as Tieba and Douban groups, and will also have more possibilities for attracting traffic and realizing monetization.

Therefore, as long as you are not operating a project that earns over 100 million yuan a year, you can take some time to try to operate in the Zhihu circle.

1. What are the exposure channels in Zhihu circles?

Exposure channels can show how many people are using the product in the early stages. For example, searching for a certain keyword on Baidu will often result in Baidu Tieba, and there are Douban groups in Douban’s navigation bar. These all play a decisive role in attracting new users, promoting activation, and retaining users of a product.

Take Douyin as an example. Users open Douyin to watch videos, and open Zhihu to read questions and answers.

2. Things to note when establishing a Zhihu community

1. Conditions: To create a circle, your Zhihu account salt value must be greater than 450, and you must fill out the creation application

2. Rapidly increase salt value:

If the salt value is not enough than 450, you need to open Zhihu and click My → Zhihu Salt Value → View Details (as shown in the figure below), find the weak links, and then focus on optimization.

For example, the basic credit value of this account is relatively low, which means that the personal information is not complete. We can fill in all the information that can be filled in, which can greatly increase the salt value.

Similarly, if your community building value is low, you can quickly increase your salt value by reporting a large number of illegal information on Zhihu.

3. Fill in the circle application form

This form will ask us to fill in 8 items in total, namely circle name, circle introduction, circle announcement, circle avatar, circle background picture, circle classification, circle entry threshold, and briefly talk about your cold start idea

The name of the circle will affect the subsequent operational results, the circle avatar will affect the number of people joining, and the cold start idea will determine whether our circle can pass the review.

2) Profile Picture

You must spend time and energy to decide on your avatar in advance, because once the circle is well operated, it will be put on the list. If the avatar is too casual, it will not attract attention at all and will not leave a good impression on people. The circles in the emotional section below are almost all wrong examples.

There are many positive examples, such as Taobao’s red-bottomed Taobao character, Tencent’s Penguin, etc., including my entrepreneurial circle. Although there is no special design, the goals are obvious and it is particularly easy to attract attention after being on the list.

3) Cold start idea for building a circle

It is not difficult to see from Zhihu's official guidance that if we can introduce some external traffic into Zhihu, it will be easier to get traffic support from the platform.

We can just fill in the form according to the instructions, write that we have a deep interest in this field, and that there are people in this field, for example, how many fans we have in WeChat groups, public accounts, Toutiao, and Douyin. Just give a brief introduction, and the official will not verify it. You will not get traffic support immediately after the circle is approved. If the number of fans you fill in randomly cannot bring any traffic to the Zhihu circle, then this circle will not have much meaning. III. How to increase 2,000+ followers in Zhihu circle in 7 days

1. Break the ice on the first day

Levels 0~2 are icebreakers. If the level is below level 2 for a long time, the circle will be useless. However, after the ice-breaking period, your circle will appear in the new section of the circle square.

You can see that not many people have joined, but at least it means that some people are beginning to see your circle.

The first step is to improve the theme and essence of the circle so that people who join later can see high-quality content, otherwise they will not click to join.

After having the sections, it is recommended to add 5 pieces of content to each section, so that the first impression of the entire circle is that it is of high quality, making people want to join.

The second step is to find friends and fans and invite them into your circle. After you have 50 people, you can get the first wave of recommendations through the ice-breaking period.

2. The circle starts to rush to the list on the second day

On the first day, we have received traffic support from the new section. On the second day and the following week, we will rush to the list of other sections. The list of circle square is measured according to the following 4 labels: number of posts, number of interactions (number of expressions + number of comments and replies), total number of people joining the circle, number of sign-ins. For example, your circle is a food circle, which belongs to the list of life section, then we have to look at the data of the top 10 on the list, and the first one is today's outfit.

If we want to rank first, we need to achieve a total number of posts greater than 1,600, an average of more than 50 posts per day, and more than 150 sign-ins in the next week.
