The alliance issued another announcement, stating that from July 26, 2020, it is prohibited to register multiple Alimama "personal accounts" with one ID card. The full text of the announcement is as follows.

Because channel ID (RID) charges an additional 10% channel service fee, try not to use RID when PID can be used. One alliance account can only create 200 PIDs. If the PIDs are not enough, you need to register more alliance accounts.

In addition, we often encounter users who place fake orders or buy things in stores, which leads to the alliance accounts being deducted points for order violations. Most Taobao agents need more than two alliance numbers, one alliance number is used for normal users' orders, and the other alliance number is used as a "cannon fodder alliance" for new users who have not been verified. Add a firewall between new and old users to prevent violations by some users from affecting the commissions of other users.

The alliance is now much more humane. If violations occur in the accounts of mothers who mainly use PID, only money will be deducted but no points will be deducted if the proportion of illegal orders is small.

Orders also support downloads. We can find violating users based on the order number, freeze their commissions, and blacklist them if the situation is serious. Be as gentle as possible when dealing with users who violate the rules to prevent them from reporting public or personal accounts and causing both parties to suffer the consequences.

Based on the applicant, alliance accounts can be divided into "personal accounts", "individual accounts" and "corporate accounts". Personal account, apply for it with your personal identity, and one person can only apply for one in the future. For individual accounts, you need to apply for individual business qualifications. An individual can register 5 individual businesses. Taobao charges about 200 yuan for one. A corporate account is registered with the company entity. It is said that a company entity can apply for up to 10 corporate Alipay accounts.

Apply for multiple alliance numbers with one corporate entity

We used one company entity to register two Alipay accounts and applied for two alliance numbers. The application steps compiled by my colleague Dajuan are as follows.

Step 1: Prepare your mailbox

Prepare in advance or apply for a new email address that has not been registered with a corporate Alipay and Taobao Alliance account. It can be a personal free email address such as 163/qq, or it can be your company's corporate email address.

Step 2: Register for corporate Alipay

1. Log in to the Alipay homepage: https://auth.alipay.com

2. Use your email to create a [corporate account] and set your login password, payment password, and security questions

3. Activate account via email → Real-name authentication → Enterprise authentication

After successful registration, enterprise certification is required.

Step 3: Register a Taobao Alliance account

To register a Taobao Alliance account, you will first register a Taobao account and then activate Taobao Alliance.

1. Log in to the Alibaba Mom website:

3. Complete the registration by email verification → Complete the information → Bind the newly applied corporate Alipay

Once you understand the alliance's policies, account registration is not complicated. But which one is better to use: personal account, individual account or corporate account?

For individuals, it is better to use a personal account. Open one under your own name and open 1-2 more under the names of your family or team. This is basically enough.

For enterprises, considering reasonable tax avoidance and tax payment in accordance with the law, it is better to use a personal account + multiple individual accounts. Each individual business owner has a tax-free quota of 100,000 yuan per month, and a monthly commission of one million can be achieved with 10 individual accounts, and the financial and tax regulations are compliant.

Try not to use a corporate account, because the money received through corporate Alipay is strictly speaking the company’s income and is subject to tax. Most of the commission income of user-type Taobao agents such as rebate Taobao agents/agent Taobao agents is returned to users. If they are required to pay back corporate income tax one day, their profits will really be close to zero.
