As for the reason why the reservation number was displayed incorrectly, Tmall said that on October 8, "when the system called a data port, the dynamic data of the front-end page was accidentally displayed as "cleared". "Afterwards, a programmer decided to multiply the number by 3 in order to "restore the reservation data to reality". At present, the faulty data interface has been repaired and the system reservation data has returned to normal.

As of now, Smartisan Technology and its founder Luo Yonghao have not responded to this news.

Rumors of fake reservations for Smartisan smartphones

On October 11, Weibo user “左岸小熊” intercepted the source code of the webpage and found that the number of reservations displayed on the Tmall reservation page was artificially set and multiplied by “3”.

On the day of the incident, Smartisan Technology announced that its smart phone Smartisan T1 4G version will be officially available for sale from 00:00 on October 18. It also stated that the "Smartisan Technology Official Flagship Store" opened on Tmall provides reservation purchase and installment payment services.
