Yan, a programmer born in the 1990s, was fired by his boss for taking private jobs. After finding a new employer, Yan created a Trojan horse to hack into his former company and stole the data of more than 100,000 talent users. In order to further retaliate against his boss, he also used the Trojan horse to destroy the company's voting system.

Yan was born in 1990 in Yongkang, majoring in computer science.

In 2013, after graduating from university, he joined a large talent recruitment website company, where he was responsible for the project development and maintenance of the website.

After a few months, he had mastered the website system and was very comfortable with the job. So, in order to earn some money, he took on some private jobs during his work.

At the end of 2013, Yan's boss discovered that he had taken an external order. Not only did his boss, Lu, fire Yan, he also withheld two months' salary.

Yan has always held a grudge against this.

Soon, Yan started working at another Internet company, where his new boss thought highly of him.

In June 2014, the company decided to develop a talent recruitment website, and the boss gave this important task to Yan.

For a talent recruitment website, talent user data is the core, but this requires long-term accumulation. Yan thought of going to the talent recruitment website of his former company and stealing the talent user data that it had accumulated over the years.

Yan thought that this would not only please his new boss, but also allow him to take revenge on his former boss, Lu.

Yan was well aware of the loopholes in his company's website, so he used technical means to implant a Trojan on the website's server. He remotely controlled the Trojan from his own company.

In July 2014 and September 2014, he used the implanted Trojans twice to obtain more than 100,000 pieces of talent user data, including user accounts, passwords, names, contact information, work experience, etc.

Last September, Lu's company was holding a corporate voting event. In order to further retaliate against him, Yan once again used a Trojan horse to destroy the voting system of Lu's company's talent website.

He used a Trojan horse to disrupt the vote count in the voting system, and all votes were evenly distributed by the system.

It was not until early January 2015 that technical staff at Lu's company found the Trojan in the voting system and deleted it.

After Lu called the police, the Dongcheng Police Station of the Yongkang Public Security Bureau and the Internet Police Brigade jointly intervened to investigate the matter and arrested Yan.

At present, Yan has been criminally detained by the police on suspicion of illegally obtaining citizens' personal information.
