Never stop learning from others I believe that in order to go from being a "good" person to an excellent person, we need to constantly learn from others and adapt to the latest technologies and tools as soon as possible. In addition to Apple's official documentation website, I have listed some websites where you can get valuable articles and resources that can help us get to the next level. Let’s start by looking at some original content blogs: objc.io This website is updated monthly by top iOS engineers. You can see high-quality articles and in-depth reviews on certain topics, and they also provide a subscription-based magazine iPad app. The website was discovered and provided by Chris Eidhof, Daniel Eggert and Florian Kugler. Subjective-C This website is famous for analyzing and reconstructing innovative patterns and UIs of famous applications. The website provides procedural articles and code libraries for their experiments. Written by Sam Page. It's a bit regrettable that the author decided to stop updating the website, but fortunately those old tutorials are still worth a look. NSHipster A class-based, step-by-step website with sample code. Its articles explore programming styles, as well as the use and implementation of cutting-edge classes. Created by Mattt Thompson, the author of AFNetworking, and currently managed by Nate Cook. Peter Steinberger This site is a personal blog, and its author is the founder of the famous iOS commercial PDF library, which has been used by famous applications such as Dropbox and Evernote. The website content includes some amazing hacking resources and debug resources to help developers learn and practice. Ole Begemann This blog focuses on sharing personal experiences, while discussing code style and API design, and sometimes revealing some private and interesting classes used by Apple. Florian Kugler A personal blog written by the co-author of ObjC.IO. You can find many articles and discussions on performance testing, including UI drawing applied to multi-core data. NSBlog Created in a fun Q&A format, it contains in-depth questions about Objective-C and other topics. If you have questions about rebuilding basic classes like NSObject, ask Mike Ash. Cocoa iOS development source code and in-depth observations extracted from iOS developers' Tumblr, a bit random but still useful. Here are some blogs that can help us get the latest information. iOS Dev Weekly Updated weekly since 2011, with over 20,000 subscribers. It helps us get useful iOS articles from around the web. It also provides push notifications for Safari. Discovered and contributed by Dave Verwer. iOS Developer Tips One of the earliest daily iOS push resources since 2008. Includes articles on many areas, such as development tips, UX, rumors, personal experiences and stories, etc. Curated by John Muchow. iOS Goodies A relatively new iOS information station. Content includes papers, controls/tools, business, UI, various media types, etc. Updated weekly by Rui Peres and Tiago Almeida. AppCoda Created by a developer friend of mine in Hong Kong who recently quit his job to maintain this site full time. Includes both online and paid downloadable articles, focusing on the API and structure used to perform attacks. Created by Simon Ng, well worth a look. Two valuable blogs with original content. Krzysztof Zab?ocki Providing tips on code structure, tools, and Xcode, which of course I left out when I first published this blog. We learned a lot from these advanced articles. iOS Development tips A relatively new blog with some detailed tips on using Xcode and the API, worth a look even if you are in a hurry. Written by Rounak Jain. Time is precious, so we must choose our news sources wisely. The better you read, the better you do. The more you read, the less you do. This is certainly not a complete list, but it’s good enough for me. If there are any good sites I missed, please let me know.
