Imagination and Testin partner to establish testing center

Recently, Imagination Technologies announced that it will cooperate with Testin (Beijing Yunce Information Technology Co., Ltd.), a leading cross-platform cloud automated testing solution provider, to jointly establish the Imagination Application Testing Center (IATC). For developers targeting the Greater China market, the IATC will be able to help them accelerate the time to market of applications and games running on various mobile and wearable devices with built-in Imagination IP such as PowerVR GPUs and MIPS CPUs. It will also allow Imagination's licensees and their OEM customers to ensure the stability, smooth operation and compatibility of their platforms.

Through the IATC website, developers can upload their applications and games and perform automated tests for compatibility, functionality, stability, UI and performance to ensure compatibility between applications and target Imagination devices in the shortest possible time. Authorized customers and OEMs can continue to add devices and platforms to expand the types of devices that developers can test.

For each tested application, a report is generated including screenshots, logs and performance statistics, as well as specific CPU and GPU analysis and solution recommendations to help developers identify and alleviate any possible bottlenecks. IATC also provides additional information for the PowerVR SDK and PVRTrace, PVRTune and other tools, including news, white papers and tutorials to help developers further analyze, debug and optimize their applications.
