WeChat 7.0.13.20 internal testing, new important function of scanning QR code

Today, the official WeChat team invited developers to jointly conduct internal testing of the new version of WeChat for iOS 7.0.13.20.

According to the description of the internal test, the issues that need to be paid attention to are mainly to test the optimization of the mini-program and whether the interfaces between components are normal in different models.

Of course, the functions that they really want to launch may not be disclosed, and perhaps regarding the "big move" related to the mini program, we are just helping to test a small part of it.

As for the details that can be seen, which have been changed in this version, there are still some discoveries.

In the WeChat-Discover-Mini Programs page, a new mini program called "Everyone is Using" has been added, with 19 categories covering shopping, entertainment, games, etc. You can see how many friends have used a specific mini program, but there is no specific information about who has used it. The "Recommended for You" function allows you to discover more excellent mini programs.

Then there is [My Orders], where you can see the order information of orders placed or purchased through the mini program.

The first new scanning function:

Now one part that can be seen with the naked eye is that when you click the [+] in the upper right corner of the WeChat main interface, the [My QR Code] icon in [Scan] has changed.

Many users may not have discovered this function before. From here, you can easily add friends or scan codes to add people. You can directly click to jump to the [My QR Code] interface without having to search for your own QR code in your personal information in an awkward manner. It is recommended to use.

The second new scanning function:

There is another useful function. Have you ever encountered a situation where you need to scan several QR codes? The most uncomfortable thing is that you need to get close to one of them to scan the code, or you are randomly scanned into one of them.

WeChat seems to have solved this problem. Now you can select the QR code you want to scan even if there are several QR codes. After scanning the code, you can tap the [small green dot] to open the page and select the QR code you want.

Internal testing requires the installation of the testflight software that Apple officially prepared for developers to conduct internal testing. After installation, if you feel there are unstable factors, you can exit the test at any time. You only need to download the official version directly from the App Store and install it over it.
