More than 467,000 people in Beijing applied for new energy quotas

The first lottery for Beijing’s passenger car quota in 2020 will be held tomorrow. This morning, the Beijing Passenger Car Index Office announced the review results and configuration data for this period's passenger car index applications. As of this period, the total number of applicants for new energy indicators has exceeded 460,000. According to current rules and calculations, this year's 54,200 individual new energy indicators will be used up in the first phase, and new applicants may continue to wait for 9 years.

Specific data of new energy indicators

After review, as of 24:00 on February 8, 2020, there were 3,350,538 valid codes for individuals and 27,877 units applying for ordinary passenger car quotas; there were 467,360 valid codes for individuals and 5,633 units applying for new energy passenger car quotas.

It has been confirmed by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Bureau that 51 unused personal ordinary passenger car allocation quotas that were won on December 26, 2018 but expired will be included in this period's personal ordinary passenger car quota allocation in accordance with regulations. Therefore, 6,417 personal ordinary passenger car quotas will be allocated in this period; and 266 unit ordinary passenger car quotas will be allocated.

According to the total number and allocation ratio of passenger car quotas in 2020, this year's personal new energy passenger car quotas are 54,200, and the personal ordinary passenger car quotas are 38,200.

What are the differences between new energy indicators and ordinary indicators?

1. Different inclusion types.

The types of inclusion of ordinary indicators and new energy indicators are different. Ordinary indicators are gasoline cars on the streets now, and if you don’t have a car and want to buy one, they are called incremental indicators, which mainly include traditional energy indicators, while new energy indicators refer to new indicators such as natural gas.
