According to news around 22:00 on July 15, the water levels in the main stream of the Yangtze River from Jingli to Datongjiang section and in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake are showing a slow receding trend, and the water level of Taihu Lake has risen slightly. At 16:00 on July 15, the water levels in the Jingli to Datongjiang section of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and in Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake were still 0.09 to 2.59 meters above the warning level. The average water level of Taihu Lake was 4.50 meters, 0.70 meters above the warning level. The water levels at 43 stations in the surrounding areas were 0.01 to 0.81 meters above the warning level, of which 15 stations exceeded the protection level by 0.02 to 0.30 meters. 103 rivers including the Shigu section of the Jinsha River in Yunnan and the Daqu River, a tributary of the Yalong River in Sichuan, were still 0.01 to 3.20 meters above the warning level. 26 rivers including the Lesixi River in Chongqing, the Fushui and Changhu Lakes in Hubei, and the Shuiyang River in Anhui were still 0.01 to 0.88 meters above the protection level.
