The Indian side has determined the location for returning the Chinese soldiers and said it will provide medical services to the Chinese soldiers

The latest report from Indian media said that India will return a lost Chinese soldier to China at the Chushul-Moldo (transliteration) meeting point.

According to Lao Hu, the controlled areas of both sides in the western section of the Sino-Indian border are intertwined and the terrain is relatively complex. It is common for soldiers on both sides to get lost. The two sides have an agreement that when a small number of soldiers from the other side get lost, they will generally be sent back according to the agreement.

According to a follow-up statement released by the Indian side on Monday, the Indian side provided medical assistance to the Chinese soldier they detained to protect him from the extreme altitude and harsh climatic conditions. Lao Hu hopes that the actual situation is indeed as the Indian side stated, and that the lost Chinese soldier has received the treatment he deserves.

Earlier this afternoon, India announced the "arrest" of a Chinese soldier who may have "accidentally" entered the Indian-controlled area. Later, Lao Hu learned that China and India had been communicating on India's return of the soldier in accordance with the agreement, and the Indian side had a positive attitude.
