This is what we often say, "I understand a lot of principles, but I still can't live a good life."

The reason is that almost all learning methods on the market, whether it is the famous deliberate practice, the mysterious memory palace, or the mind map that many people use every day, they only use one or two principles of learning, so they can only help you make partial improvements.

For example, deliberate practice is very effective for learning sports skills, but it is a bit difficult to use it to learn theoretical knowledge. This is because learning theoretical knowledge also involves deep understanding and deep thinking.

For example, the memory palace is very powerful for memorizing isolated events, objects, and numbers, but it is very limited when used to read a book or learn a skill. This is because the knowledge we learn in our daily lives is not isolated. Not only is it not isolated, but it also has some convergent characteristics.

This is the characteristic of learning methods on the market. Almost all learning methods are just digging deep into a certain point. However, memory is still important. It is the basis of thinking. If we do not have enough knowledge stored in our long-term memory, it will be difficult to have a deep understanding and thinking of knowledge.
