1. Zhongshan City

The standards for the payment of allowances for the elderly in Zhongshan will be formulated and announced by the Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and adjusted in a timely manner according to the city's economic and social development level and prices and other factors.

2. Liaocheng City

On October 29, 2021, the Liaocheng Municipal Health Commission issued the "Liaocheng City Elderly Old-Age Allowance Management Measures", which mentioned:

The old-age subsidy for the elderly aged 80-89 years old is no less than 30 yuan per person per month; the old-age subsidy for the elderly aged 90-99 years old is no less than 100 yuan per person per month; the longevity subsidy for the elderly over 100 years old is 400 yuan per person per month.

3. Jinan

On February 24, 2022, the Jinan Municipal Health Commission and the Jinan Municipal Finance Bureau issued a notice on the issuance of the "Implementation Rules for the Management of the Issuance of Old-Age Allowances for the Elderly in Jinan" (Jinan Weifa [2022] No. 6). The standard for the issuance of old-age allowances in Jinan is: 100 yuan per person per month for those aged 80-89 (without retirement pension or employee pension insurance benefits); 200 yuan per person per month for those aged 90-99; 500 yuan per person per month for those aged 100 and above.

3. Wuhan

On January 4, 2022, the Civil Affairs Bureau of Jianghan District issued the relevant content of the "Wuhan City Old-Age Allowance Payment Management Measures", which will be implemented from January 1, 2020 and will be valid for 5 years. The standards for the payment of old-age allowances are:

Elderly people aged 80 to 89 years old enjoy a monthly old-age allowance of 100 yuan each; elderly people aged 90 to 99 years old enjoy a monthly old-age allowance of 200 yuan each; elderly people aged 100 years old and above enjoy a monthly old-age allowance of 500 yuan each. The required funds will be borne by the city and district finances in a 1:1 ratio.

4. Hainan

Haikou City will divide the old-age subsidy into three levels according to the age of the elderly, namely, the elderly aged 80 to 89, the elderly aged 90 to 99, and the elderly aged 100 and above. The payment standards are: no less than 109 yuan, 209 yuan, and 809 yuan per person per month, and no less than 1,308 yuan, 2,508 yuan, and 9,708 yuan per person per year.

The age group division in Sanya is the same as that in Haikou. The old-age subsidy is divided into three levels: 175 yuan, 300 yuan, and 1,200 yuan per person per month, corresponding to 2,100 yuan, 3,600 yuan, and 14,400 yuan per year. The subsidy standard is higher than that in Haikou.

5. Guangzhou

According to Guangzhou City's "Guangzhou Elderly Allowance Can Be Applied for Online Through Guangdong Provincial Affairs", the payment standards are as follows:

① 70 to 79 years old, 30 yuan per person per month; ② 80 to 89 years old, 100 yuan per person per month; ③ 90 to 99 years old, 200 yuan per person per month; ④ 100 years old and above, 300 yuan per person per month.

The above standards do not include Huangpu District, where the subsidy standards are higher:

① 70 to 79 years old, 80 yuan per person per month; ② 80 to 89 years old, 150 yuan per person per month; ③ 90 to 99 years old, 250 yuan per person per month; ④ 100 years old and above, 600 yuan per person per month.

2. How to apply for the old-age subsidy for people over 80 years old in 2022?

1. Personal application

Eligible elderly people must apply for the old-age allowance voluntarily. Before the 15th of each month, their agent or the applicant themselves must submit a written application to the village (community) where they are registered, with two one-inch bare-head photos, the original and a copy of the household registration book, and their ID card. They must also fill out the "XX District Old-Age Living Allowance Application Approval Form" (in triplicate).

2. Acceptance and Publicity

After receiving the application, the village or community shall report the list of old-age allowance recipients and the application materials to the street or township where they are located, review and verify the relevant application materials, and then sign the opinion and stamp it with the official seal.
