Product News | What are the recent important updates of Baidu Promotion?

Baidu Marketing Center’s “Weekly Product News” will give you a comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in Baidu’s commercial products! Here we will introduce to you the product dynamics of the past week.

Search promotion oCPC: PC traffic range is opened, new version of data report is online, and the status of smart word addition function is updated

1) In order to meet advertisers' demands for using oCPC to optimize PC traffic, search promotion oCPC opened the PC traffic range on July 31, supporting customers to set up oCPC delivery for mobile traffic and PC traffic separately.

2) The new version of the search promotion oCPC data report will be launched on July 31st. The following functions will be updated after the new version is launched:

New delivery package data: You can search for delivery packages and download or send the delivery data of delivery packages by email;

New filtering function: You can filter by traffic range, bidding mode and other dimensions to quickly display the selected data;

Supports viewing plan-level data within a delivery package: click the plan level to expand the delivery data for the corresponding plan of the delivery package.

3) The product switch of the recently launched smart word-adding function has been changed from the previous default on to the default off. Customers can adjust it to enable and use it according to their own delivery needs.

E-Secret Intelligent Customer Service Function Update

Last week, the upgraded E-Secret Smart app was launched. Currently, it supports new functions such as message push, self-service question matching, promotion interpretation report effect query, marketing newsletter, message bubble guidance and jump, which can be experienced on the right side of the Baidu promotion APP and the right side of the one-stop homepage.

Note: The new self-service function in the E-secret intelligent customer service product in the "Baidu Promotion APP" requires downloading the latest version of the APP before use.

Search promotion creative products are offline after testing

In the near future, we will take unified offline processing for all search creative products that have completed full-traffic testing.

Offline products: official announcements, website avatars, marketing components - limited time only.

Offline time: From now on, the official announcement/website avatar review will be stopped, and the online entrance will be closed on July 26; all the above products will be offline on August 9. After the offline, the data of the product can still be viewed in the data report.

The original linkage product was renamed "Bihe/Link"

Under the search + display category, the original "Dual Engine" was renamed "Brand Always-Information Flow", and the original "Brand Always" was renamed "Brand Always-Open Screen". After the name change, the two are collectively referred to as "Brand Always".

Under the category of opening screen + information flow, the original "opening screen information flow linkage" was renamed "Brand Impact-Baidu App", and a batch of new resources that will be launched soon are collectively referred to as "Brand Impact".

Product display template A price group price upgrade

The price component of the Pinzhuan Multi-Picture Product Display-A template has been upgraded. Advertisers can fill in the price information in accordance with the standard format according to the selected price type.

The launch of this function only adds the classification of price filling methods, and the UE review standards remain unchanged. After the upgrade, it can be divided into 6 price types, and advertisers can flexibly choose according to different needs.

New Medical Care-Landing Page: Consultation Timeliness and Popularity Information Online

After going online, the guiding copy of the first content card displayed to visitors when they enter the consultation landing page will carry information on the timeliness and popularity of the consultation, attracting netizens to initiate consultations.

1) This issue will display one type of consultation timeliness and popularity information: "A total of xx people have consulted within 7 days"

2) Display threshold: only when the cumulative number of consultations exceeds 100 times within 7 days

3) If the number of inquiries does not reach the display threshold, the default copy will be displayed: "Please consult this page for more details"

Update of "Local Service Landing Page Review Standard 1.3"

1) Article 27 of Section 1 of Chapter 4, "The company's address and years of establishment must be consistent with those in the business license. If the addresses are inconsistent, corresponding proof must be provided, such as proof of the existence of a chain, franchise, group, head office, branch, parent-subsidiary, etc. relationship between the companies at the two addresses."

2) Chapter 4, Section 1, Article 29: "No incomplete map of China shall appear."

3) Chapter 4, Section 1, Article 28: The single landing page must clearly reflect the name of the promotion entity
