Preface The concept of light applications was proposed in 2013, when Baidu launched this concept at the Baidu World Conference. Its characteristics are fast and simple, no need to download, and immediate use after searching. Weibo Light App is a set of basic framework and access services provided by Weibo for third-party services (H5 pages) to access Weibo. Weibo is one of the two largest social platforms in China. The report shows that by the end of June 2015, the number of microblog users in China reached 204 million, with a usage rate of 30.6% among netizens. Among them, the number of mobile microblog users is 162 million, accounting for 79.4% of the total. There is no doubt about the number of users. In the era of social commercialization, the dividends generated by social networking have already accounted for a large proportion. However, the core of social marketing lies in sharing and dissemination, and what can inspire users to share must be high-quality content, and to ensure better dissemination effects, convenient dissemination tools must be used. And I found that light applications have these two characteristics. 1. How to use Weibo light application promotion 1. Create an application page There are two types of light applications: one is embedded in the desktop browser through an iframe, referred to as the Web version . The other is displayed through Webview in the Weibo client, referred to as the H5 version . Merchant applications can choose one of the two display platforms, or support both. What you need to pay attention to is that the design of the application page must be very interesting. <5> Submit online and obtain information This form is generally used to collect activity attendance or user information. <6> Challenge yourself, the game is king I adopted the form of a small game, in which users pass the level by guessing the song. Submit your application and apply for resources After creating your own application, the next step is to enter the light application development platform http://open.weibo.com/development/pro and click Create Reference (as shown below) After creating the light application, you need to start applying for resources for platform promotion, and there is no payment during the entire process. Throughout the creation process, I summarized the steps of the entire process as follows: The specific operation process is: ①. On the day of the event, you should first use your official Weibo account to launch the event online. ②. Send the activity link to the Weibo official light application team ③. After the official team reviews the event format, they will evaluate the resources that can be applied for. ④. From the data comparison, we can see that the reading volume increased by about 400 times after the promotion. After 5 days of activities, we were very excited about the final statistical results. We did not change anything on this basis, but only made some minor operations. What details should be paid attention to during the promotion process I believe that many people have heard of Weibo light applications, but not everyone has successfully used them.
