Post-login process, do not let users log in unless necessary When shopping, you do not need to log in before checking out. You will be prompted to log in when checking out because we need to obtain the user's mailing address, coupons, points and other information. Do not force users to log in unless absolutely necessary.

  2. When entering an account, the email suffix is ​​recommended to reduce input Based on the user's input information, it can dynamically recommend frequently used email accounts for the user to select, thus reducing input. Furthermore, if the user logs in using a mobile phone number, it is unreasonable to recommend an email address. In this case, it can be recognized that if the input is a number, the first recommended item is not an email address. 

 3. The login interface provides a password retrieval function Needless to say, this type of processing is used to handle scenarios where users have an account but have forgotten their passwords, making it easier for users to retrieve their passwords. 

  4. It is best not to deviate from the current operating situation During user operations, if a login is encountered, the general product processing is to directly jump to the general login page for login, which is disconnected from the user's current operation. This is certainly not a big problem, but from the perspective of improving user login conversions, there are better ways to deal with it.  1) Embed the login page into the operation page The login is embedded in the operation page, usually using a mobile phone number + verification code. With so many e-commerce websites, you often don’t have a registered account or forget your login account. At this time, temporarily generating an account for you is a more reliable way, and logging in with a mobile phone number + verification code is a better solution. 2) Login through floating layer or pop-up window at the bottom of the operation page To keep the page in the current operation context, you can use the operation page as the background and place the login part above the operation page. Bottom-panel or pop-up windows can achieve this goal. But pop-ups are mostly used on PCs. 3) Jump to the login page to log in, but bring in the operation information Of course, we can also jump to a separate login page. However, it is also a good idea to bring the information of previous operations into the login page and establish the connection between the operation information and the login.  5. Remember login account and password, log in automatically For users who have already logged in, an automatic login function is provided. As long as the user does not actively log out, the background will actively help the user complete the login after the login expires. The user sees that he is always logged in. This is a common approach used by many applications. 6. Display historical login accounts When a user logs out and logs in again, the user is provided with previously successfully logged-in accounts to choose from, which reduces input and greatly improves the login experience. 

 7. Log in without an account Account-free login does not mean that you do not need an account, it means that you do not need to register an account on this site and can complete the login directly. There are two common account-free login methods: third-party application login and mobile phone number + verification code login. 1) Third-party app login Third-party application login, the application is very mature. Common third-party application logins include QQ login, WeChat login, Weibo login, etc. The third-party application open platform provides a mature access method. 

 2) Login with mobile phone number + verification code This login method actually simplifies registration and login into one step. When logging in, an account is actually generated through the mobile phone number, and the verification code is used as the password for verification. 

  8. Keyboard-triggered login To trigger the login operation, in addition to the login button, you can also use the confirmation key such as "OK" (or Done) on the keyboard to trigger the login operation. The OK button on the keyboard triggers the login, which is more consistent. 

 9. Shared login When you have two or more applications to provide to users and the installation volume is relatively large, you can consider using shared login. Shared login means that when one of your applications is logged in on a user's phone, your other applications on the user's phone can share the login status of the logged in application with just a simple authorization (authorization can also be omitted), reducing input. The principle is the same as third-party login. 

 Compare your own application and see if the above optimization points are desirable. At the same time, there are far more ways to improve login conversions. With more experience and more thinking, more solutions will emerge. This is how products are. There is never an optimal solution, only better solutions.
