What eye diseases can be caused?

1. After turning off the lights, there is a clear contrast between the dark background and the brightness of the phone screen, which causes eye discomfort and increases eye fatigue. If you must use it, it is recommended to turn on the reading light and enable the phone's night mode.

2. After turning off the lights, the outside light is extremely dim, and the human eye will look at the screen more closely. Long-term close use will cause eye accommodation spasm, causing eye soreness, dryness, decreased vision, and myopia.

3. After turning off the lights, frequent use of mobile phones will cause tears in the eyes to evaporate too quickly, reduce blinking, cause tear film instability, and cause varying degrees of dry eye syndrome.

4. After turning off the lights, using mobile phones at night may cause the pupil to dilate, which may induce glaucoma in people with risk factors for glaucoma such as shallow anterior chamber and narrow chamber angle.

Is the eye protection mode in mobile phones useful?

The answer is: eye protection mode is useful.

Eye protection mode can reduce the brightness of the phone screen and moderately relieve eye fatigue; it can reduce the inhibitory effect of blue light on melatonin secretion and help improve sleep.

But please note that this does not mean that you can use your phone for a long time in eye protection mode.

Is it useful to put anti-blue light film on mobile phones?

Although electronic products will produce a certain amount of blue light, the blue light hazard value is within the normal range. Therefore, generally speaking, mobile phones and other electronic products do not need to be covered with anti-blue light film. When using mobile phones, we can turn on the eye protection mode.

Blue light is divided into harmful (380-440nm) and beneficial blue light (440-500nm). If the anti-blue light film used is indeed genuine and certified by relevant national departments, the anti-blue light film that can effectively filter short-wavelength blue light is still useful and can reduce visual fatigue.

At the same time, anti-peep film is also a popular mobile phone screen film.

In order to prevent others from seeing the information and data on the mobile phone screen in the subway, bus, and elevator, many friends install anti-peep film on their mobile phones.

Although the effect looks good, the use of anti-peep film will cause the brightness and contrast of the mobile phone screen to decrease to varying degrees, making it difficult to distinguish and causing eye discomfort. If the brightness is increased, it will also cause light scattering, and long-term use will cause increased visual fatigue.

How to protect your eyes?

It is recommended that you stop playing with your phone after turning off the lights;

When playing with your phone at night, you can adjust the screen brightness and turn on the night mode;

Avoid lying down to play with your phone, it is recommended to sit. Do not lower your head to play with your phone for a long time at close range to prevent cervical spondylosis;

After playing with your phone or tablet for 30 minutes, it is recommended to close your eyes and do eye exercises;

Develop good sleeping habits and eat more fruits rich in vitamin C;

Use preservative-free artificial tears to improve symptoms such as dry eyes.
