Recently, Shenzhou XII astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo appeared at a press conference. This was their first official meeting with the media and the public since returning to the ground on September 17. How is the recovery of the "space mission trio" after returning? What stories do you want to share with everyone? Recently, CCTV reporters interviewed astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming, and Tang Hongbo. The body's functions are not affected Now in the recovery observation phase The recovery period after the return of the Shenzhou XII astronaut crew is mainly divided into the isolation recovery stage, the recuperation recovery stage, and the recovery observation stage. At present, the Shenzhou XII astronaut crew has completed the second stage of work and has now fully entered the recovery observation stage. Astronaut Liu Boming said that it takes about half a year for the body to recover, "if it recovers quickly, it can reach the state before the mission." Currently, astronauts mainly exercise their heart and lungs by jogging, and will start the next step of training after their bodies have fully recovered. Liu Boming said that the astronauts' internal organs and body functions were not affected, and weightlessness mainly changed the distribution of body fluids. "The faces of the astronauts of the Shenzhou 13 crew in space are swollen, and they look shiny and younger. In fact, it is congestion, not weight gain." First entry into the space station One person removes thousands of screws On June 17, the three astronauts of Shenzhou XII checked into the Chinese space station. Prior to this, the Tianzhou II cargo spacecraft, which had been successfully launched and completed rendezvous and docking with the Tianhe core module, had delivered 6.8 tons of supplies in advance. The first task for the astronauts after checking in was to sort out supplies and install equipment and facilities. Nie Haisheng said that sorting out materials and installing equipment were related to their future lives and had to be completed within a few days. "The kitchen and bathroom had to be installed and finished... To do these things, a lot of screws had to be removed, and they couldn't be stacked after being removed. It was very tedious, and we just kept working on it." Liu Boming described the three astronauts at this stage as being like loaders and unloaders. "I removed more than 3,000 screws, and in the end, the screws were all emitting stars." The first time to go out of the spacecraft encountered challenges One hour later than originally planned At 8:11 a.m. on July 4, Liu Boming leapt into the vast universe. This was the first time in 13 years that Chinese astronauts performed an extravehicular mission since the Shenzhou VII flight crew successfully completed the extravehicular mission. When the extravehicular activity was about to end, Liu Boming needed to remove the operating table on the robotic arm and install it on the extravehicular tool box at the door of the node cabin, and then he encountered a challenge. Liu Boming: The operating table was shaking a lot, and we were also floating, but we couldn't align it. I couldn't do it alone, and Tang Hongbo came out, and we couldn't do it either. Faced with the more than one-meter-long operating table swaying in space, Liu Boming made a quick judgment, "I asked the ground to split it up and operate it according to the extravehicular procedures. Later, the ground adopted my suggestion and split it up for operation." After the disassembly command was issued, the space station just flew out of the tracking and control area. When it re-entered the tracking and control area 11 minutes later, Liu Boming had already installed the operating table on the tool box outside the cabin. After about 7 hours of extravehicular activities, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo successfully completed the extravehicular mission. The first extravehicular activity lasted 1 hour longer than originally planned, but with the experience of the first extravehicular activity, the second extravehicular activity on August 21 was completed 1 hour ahead of schedule. Get a "space ticket" every 8 years Nie Haisheng: Astronauts are not supermen From being selected as one of my country's first astronauts in 1998, to Shenzhou VI in 2005, to Shenzhou X in 2013, and Shenzhou XII in 2021, every eight years, Nie Haisheng gets a "space ticket" to perform a space mission. Now 57 years old, he is the first Chinese astronaut to stay in orbit for 100 consecutive days. Many netizens compared him to Superman. Nie Haisheng said: "I am just an ordinary person. There are many people of this age who can get there, but many people may not have this opportunity." Nie Haisheng: I caught up with the opportunity for the country to build a space station, and I was at this age. My training met the requirements, and I have been preparing non-stop. Reporter: How long did you prepare continuously? Nie Haisheng: I have never stopped since I came here. After 11 years of perseverance, the dream of flying into space finally came true Tang Hongbo: I have been learning, learning and learning Tang Hongbo, 46 years old this year, is the youngest astronaut in the Shenzhou XII crew. For him, the long wait before becoming an astronaut is more of a test of his will than the daily hard training. When his comrades Liu Yang, Wang Yaping and Chen Dong flew into space one after another, Tang Hongbo had not yet gotten his chance. In 2016, he was selected as a backup astronaut for the Shenzhou 11 mission, but he still missed his dream of flying into space. This experience made Tang Hongbo realize that he had to work harder to improve himself. He often went to work to read books on weekends, and except for lunch time, he was studying materials. "Now the tasks are becoming more and more complicated, and more and more knowledge is required. I have been constantly learning, learning, and learning, waiting for this opportunity while learning." Space Improvisation Liu Boming: If you ask me to write on the ground, I can’t write When the second extravehicular activity of Shenzhou XII was about to end, Liu Boming looked around the universe and bid farewell to the starry sky. He lingered at the hatch for a minute and improvised a poem to share with the people of the country. "The universe is vast and the road is long, billions of sons and daughters build a bridge. The astronauts walking in space never grow old, and China's space relay race is on." Talking about improvisation, Liu Boming said, "At that time, it was really inspiration. If you asked me to write on the ground, I couldn't write it or read it."
