There are certain requirements for underwear fabrics. Which one is the true love of your butt?

Just as "there are a thousand Hamlets in the eyes of a thousand people", a thousand people may also have a thousand standards for measuring underwear, such as underwear brand, underwear style, underwear price, etc. However, the most basic thing is to start with the underwear fabric, after all, comfort is the bottom line.

Nowadays, the fabrics of underwear have been diversified. In addition to cotton, which most people know, there are also viscose, modal, nylon, polyester, silk, spandex, etc. Today, let's talk about the secrets of underwear fabrics to help you unlock more ways to wear them!

"Public Lover" - Cotton

Cotton is a fiber obtained from the seeds of the cotton plant and is a common natural cellulose fiber.

Pure cotton fabric is skin-friendly and few people are allergic to cotton. Cotton fiber has good moisture absorption, a moisture regain of 8.5%, and good warmth retention. It is soft and comfortable to wear. People who are afraid of cold in autumn and winter or have skin allergies are more suitable to choose underwear made of this fabric.

However, because pure cotton fabric is not easy to dry after absorbing moisture, it is not suitable to wear pure cotton underwear when you sweat easily.

"Black Technology" - Viscose

Let's start with the name of the fiber category of regenerated cellulose fiber. As we all know, although raw materials such as cotton linters and trees are rich in cellulose, they cannot be directly used as thin and long fibers for spinning and weaving. However, these cellulose-rich raw materials are used through certain chemical processing and spinning to make regenerated fibers, which are called regenerated cellulose fibers. Different production processes can produce different regenerated cellulose fibers, such as viscose and modal.

Viscose is the abbreviation of viscose fiber, which is a regenerated cellulose fiber obtained by the viscose production process. Viscose fabric feels soft, has good gloss and good drape. Viscose has good moisture absorption, a moisture regain of 13%, and is comfortable to wear.

The disadvantage is that it is easy to shrink, deform and wrinkle. The fiber strength decreases significantly when wet and feels hard, so do not twist it too much during washing to avoid deformation or damage to the product.

"Tender as water" - Modal

Modal is a regenerated cellulose fiber with excellent performance. Like ordinary viscose, modal has good hygroscopicity, a moisture regain of 13%, and is comfortable to wear. Compared with ordinary viscose, modal has higher wet breaking strength. The surface of modal fabric is bright and shiny, soft and smooth to the touch. It has good drape, is not easy to wrinkle, and fits naturally.

"Sports King" - Nylon

Nylon, also known as nylon, is the abbreviation of polyamide fiber and is a common synthetic fiber.

Nylon has excellent strength and wear resistance, and nylon fabrics are often wear-resistant and durable. Nylon fiber has a low density and light weight, and can be made into thin fabrics that are easy to wash and dry quickly. However, this fabric has poor moisture absorption, with a moisture regain rate of 4.5%, and is not comfortable enough.

"The leader of synthetic fibers" - polyester fiber

Polyester fiber is a general term for three types of fibers: PET, PBT, and PTT. The common PET fiber is referred to as polyester.

The advantages of polyester fiber fabric are good strength, smooth and crisp, easy to wash and dry, not easy to wrinkle and deform, and not moldy or moth-eaten. Its disadvantages are that it is easy to generate static electricity, easy to stick to dust, poor moisture absorption, moisture regain rate of 0.4%, and poor comfort.

"National Essence" - Silk

Silk, commonly known as real silk, is a natural protein fiber. According to the different types of silkworms that spin silk, common silk is divided into mulberry silk and tussah silk.

The biggest feature of silk is its pearl-like silk luster. Silk fabric is skin-friendly and feels delicate and smooth. Silk has good moisture absorption, with a moisture regain rate of 11%, and is comfortable to wear.

The disadvantages of silk are that it is easy to shrink and wrinkle. It has poor light resistance and should not be exposed to the sun for a long time to avoid damaging the product. It also needs to be washed and maintained to prevent insects from eating it.

"Rubber Band" - Spandex

Spandex, short for polyurethane elastic fiber, is a very special chemical fiber. This fiber has excellent elastic properties and can be regarded as a very thin and long "rubber band". It is generally not used alone, but mixed into fabrics in small amounts to improve the elasticity of the fabric. Generally speaking, the more spandex a fabric contains, the greater its elasticity.

In short, different underwear fabrics have different comfort and functions. You can choose the one that belongs to you according to your needs.
