As an "arm" of the Eagle Nebula

It sticks out from the nebula

Forming long scrolls of gas and dust

It almost looks like a cosmic "fingers" reaching out into the unknown.

Along the edge of the Pillars of Creation there are a large number of small red stars

These are the embryonic forms of stars.

It can be considered as a star in its infant stage.
