The launch will be at 23:08 tomorrow! The crew of Shenzhou 15 astronauts is confirmed to be: Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming, and Zhang Lu! Netizens: Old Deng has realized his dream, heading for the stars and the sea!

According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, Shenzhou 15 is targeting launch time of 23:08 on November 29.

After research and decision by the general command of the space station phase flight mission, three astronauts, Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu, will carry out the Shenzhou 15 manned flight mission , with Fei Junlong as the commander.

China will realize the first in-orbit rotation of astronauts. The Shenzhou-15 astronauts will travel in space for 6 months. The main objectives of the mission include verifying the space station's ability to support crew rotation and realizing the first in-orbit rotation of astronaut crew.

On November 28, the astronauts of the Shenzhou 15 crew will meet with Chinese and foreign media reporters at the Wentian Pavilion of the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center and answer reporters' questions.

According to the plan, after the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft enters orbit, it will adopt an autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking mode and dock with the forward port of the Tianhe core module, forming a three-module and three-ship combination, which is the largest configuration of China's space station at present, with a total mass of nearly 100 tons. During its stay in orbit, the Shenzhou 15 astronaut crew will welcome the visits and docking of the Tianzhou 6 cargo spacecraft and the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft, and is scheduled to return to the Dongfeng landing site in May next year.

Deng Qingming finally waited

Come on, China Aerospace

As soon as the news came out, many Orange Friends offered their blessings, and many Orange Friends mentioned Deng Qingming: "Deng Qingming!! I remember him!! He can finally go to space!! "——

1998

14 pilots passed the screening

Selected as one of my country's first astronauts

Now 24 years have passed

Among these 14 astronauts

There is one person who has never performed a space mission.

Still in active service

He is Deng Qingming

Over 20 years

He insists on doing one thing and pursuing a dream

On January 5, 1998, the Chinese People's Liberation Army Astronaut Brigade was established, and Deng Qingming became one of the first 14 astronauts. On that day, he solemnly swore, "I will be brave and fearless, selflessly dedicate myself, not afraid of sacrifice, and be willing to fight for the country's manned space flight for the rest of my life."

This oath is the unshakable belief of aerospace workers. Deng Qingming has been sticking to it for 24 years.

Small gap

He missed his dream many times.

In 2010, Deng Qingming was selected into the intensive training team and became the backup astronaut for the Shenzhou 9 flight mission.

As an astronaut, the subjects, time, content, intensity and assessment standards of backup and primary training are the same. In order to have the ability to independently carry out manned space flight missions, astronauts need to pass strict assessments in eight categories and hundreds of training subjects. Deng Qingming said: "During the training process, you must always maintain excellent results and the best condition, and finally you can enter the echelon to carry out the mission."

Unfortunately, Deng Qingming was not selected. After the launch of Shenzhou 9, Deng Qingming followed the manual and went through all the procedures with the astronauts in space, ticking each step he completed. He said: "As a backup mission, the mission is not over when we return from the base. My comrades have returned safely, and this is the end of the backup."

Although Shenzhou 9 was not selected, Deng Qingming believed that he would have another chance next time. He regarded the experience of Shenzhou 9 as an accumulation of experience and felt that he was one step closer to his dream of flying into space.

However, Deng Qingming missed his dream again in the Shenzhou 10 mission because of a tiny difference in scores. "Just a small gap made you miss the opportunity and stopped you from reaching the launch tower."

That year, Deng Qingming was 47 years old, and he didn't know when Shenzhou 11 would be launched.

No matter how difficult the road to heaven is

He never thought of giving up

During a physical examination in 2013, Deng Qingming was found to have a very small stone in his body. For ordinary people, such small stones are usually ignored, but for astronauts, this is not the case. In order to continue pursuing his dream of space travel, Deng Qingming resolutely chose to undergo surgery.

Unexpectedly, the stones could not be completely removed during the first operation, and the doctor could only implant a tube in his kidney. Deng Qingming had to wear the tube for more than a month and had blood in his urine for more than a month. It was not until the second operation that Deng Qingming's stones were successfully removed, "and my dream was rekindled."

In 2014, five astronauts of the Astronaut Corps stopped flying due to age. After the suspension ceremony, Chen Quan, who was also the backup for the Shenzhou IX and Shenzhou X missions, said to Deng Qingming: "Whether you are the main or the backup, it is the duty of an astronaut. Old Deng, you have to work hard and don't give up."

Deng Qingming said that he would never forget this sentence in his life. No matter how difficult the road to spaceflight was, he never thought of giving up. After each mission, he had to "reset" himself in the shortest possible time, put aside the past, and meet new challenges with a positive attitude.

Better to be prepared than to use

Never use without preparation

In 2016, Deng Qingming once again came to Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center as a backup astronaut for the Shenzhou 11 mission. This time, he was closest to his dream of flying into space.

Since receiving the mission, Deng Qingming has completed the same amount of training and the same standards as the main mission in the three years of preparation. During the most challenging 33-day simulation test of Shenzhou 11, he and another astronaut, Chen Dong, lived in a sealed cabin of less than 10 square meters, completely isolated from the outside world. The lights were always on, and the vibration and noise of the machine surrounded them. He could not go out or take a shower, and when he was bored, he could only face Chen Dong.

The day before the launch, the headquarters held a meeting and announced that Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong would carry out the Shenzhou 11 mission. Deng Qingming said that when he heard the result, he was indeed stunned for a moment, and he felt that the eyes of the entire hall were focused on him. "I couldn't say anything at the time. After a pause, I turned around to face Haipeng, hugged him tightly, and said: Haipeng, congratulations! Haipeng also replied affectionately, thank you, brother!"

For nearly two minutes, the entire Wentian Pavilion hall was extremely quiet. This scene made many people present shed tears.

In an interview in 2018, Deng Qingming talked about the situation at that time and said: "Personal honor and personal gains and losses are really not particularly important at this moment. Whoever completes the mission has completed the mission. Whoever is flying is the astronaut. Because only when the astronauts complete the mission, even if you are a backup, your efforts are worth it."

Today, 56-year-old Deng Qingming still insists on training and is always ready. "The success of the mission is my success. I would rather be an unknown cornerstone than be unprepared when the horn calls for action."

It is worth mentioning that influenced by her father, Deng Qingming's daughter Deng Manqi also became an astronaut. They are working together to fight for the country's aerospace industry. Deng Manqi once wrote a letter to Deng Qingming, in which she said: "Dad is the most dedicated and selfless person I have ever met. You will always be the greatest hero in my heart!"

In the dream of flying and asking the sky

There are countless "Deng Qingming"

Although I haven't put on my armor to fight, I have already devoted my life to the cause.

They have grown from their youth to gray hair

Decades of silent perseverance and hard work

It is because of their dedication

China is getting closer to realizing its dream of becoming a space power
