People call the folk singers who sing Manas Manaschi. Manas describes the story of Manas and his seven generations of descendants leading the Kirgiz people to fight against foreign invaders. The whole epic consists of eight parts, namely "Manas", "Saimeitai", "Saiyitaik", "Kainaimu", "Saiyit", "Aselbacha and Bekbacha", "Sombilik" and "Qigtai".
