Be careful! The high incidence age of this cancer is getting earlier! These 5 types of people are most likely to be "targeted"!

Everyone can get cancer. Does cancer attack indiscriminately? Of course not. Cancer also has its favorite place to stay!

The high-incidence age group for breast cancer abroad is 55 to 65 years old, while in my country it is advanced to 45 to 55 years old. In addition, we know very little about breast cancer, which gives cancer an opportunity to take advantage!

Three characteristics of "Chinese-style" breast cancer

Compared with Western countries, "Chinese-style" breast cancer has three characteristics:

1. The age of onset is early, and there are relatively more young patients.

Second, many patients seek medical treatment late. Their disease is already in stage 3 or 4 when they seek medical treatment.

3. The incidence rate is high in big cities, especially Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities.

Breast cancer is also related to these factors!

1. High density breasts:

In a dense (more glandular) breast, it is easier for cancer to hide and be less likely to be detected.

Generally, the missed diagnosis rate of mammography alone is high. Only through detailed medical history inquiry, standardized physical examination combined with ultrasound and/or breast MRI can early detection be achieved. In addition, Asian breasts have more glandular tissue, which gives cancer a chance.

2. Excessive estrogen levels in the body:

If the hormone levels in the body are abnormal, cancer can do whatever it wants!

1. Women who have their periods before the age of 12, those who are over 55 and have not yet reached menopause, and women with early menarche and late menopause have a higher risk of breast cancer than the general population.

2. Single women, women who have children late in life, and women who are not breastfeeding. Women who have not given birth lack the protection of progesterone and may be more susceptible to breast cancer due to the stimulation of excessive estrogen.

3. Using hormone therapy to treat illness can increase the risk of breast cancer.

4. Because obesity causes changes in hormone levels in the body, obese people have a higher risk of breast cancer and its spread than people of normal weight.

3. Have had breast disease

If you have had diseases such as breast cysts and atypical hyperplasia in the past, cancer is more likely to come to you. In addition, many people never go for a follow-up check after undergoing surgery for benign diseases, which makes it easy for cancer to take advantage of the situation.

IV. Other factors

In addition to the risk factors listed above, cancer can also come knocking on your door if you do these three things: alcohol, smoking, and excessive radiation exposure.

Nicotine and alcohol are not only loved by breast cancer, but everyone in the cancer family loves them very much!

Men should also be careful about breast cancer!

Male breast cancer is very rare, accounting for less than 1% of all breast cancers, but its incidence has been increasing year by year in recent years.

The latest research data show that the incidence rate of male breast cancer is about 1.2/100,000, and the average age of diagnosis is 67 years old.

The causes and mechanisms of male breast cancer have not yet been fully elucidated. Currently, possible risk factors for male breast cancer include: increasing age, race, family history of breast cancer, BRCA gene mutations, radiation exposure, and abnormal hormones in the body.

The following can all be symptoms of male breast cancer!

1. The main clinical manifestation of most male breast cancer is a painless retroareolar mass.

2. Other symptoms include: nipple retraction, nipple bleeding, skin ulcers and palpable axillary lumps.

Clinically, it needs to be differentially diagnosed from male breast development.
