Hemorrhoids, it's a bit hard to talk about

The incidence rate is very high

According to an epidemiological survey on common anorectal diseases among Chinese adults that began in 2013, the overall prevalence of anorectal diseases among Chinese people is 50.10%, most of which are hemorrhoids.

If your friends all say they don’t have hemorrhoids

Not that everyone is in good health.

But they are unwilling to go to the anorectal department

The majority of young, middle-aged and elderly people with hemorrhoids

The psychological state is characterized by anxiety

There are often some unrealistic problems with horses

"My hemorrhoids are not serious, maybe they will heal on their own someday."

"This hot pot isn't spicy, so it's okay to eat less."

Questions about hemorrhoids

Today, Dr. Huaxi will answer this question for you.

The current mainstream view is that there is actually no necessary causal relationship between eating spicy food and hemorrhoids.

If you eat some chili peppers and erjingtiao every day, you may not get hemorrhoids; if you eat light meals every day, you may not get hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids treat everyone fairly.

The connection between chili peppers and hemorrhoids is mainly that chili peppers can cause blood vessel dilation and increase the frequency of bowel movements, thereby aggravating the symptoms of hemorrhoids.

But if you don't have hemorrhoids, eating spicy food will only make you feel uncomfortable when going to the toilet. There is really no evidence to prove that eating spicy food will cause hemorrhoids.

Even Sichuan and Chongqing, two major spicy food consumption areas, are not even ranked among the highest in the prevalence of hemorrhoids in the country. Many provinces do not have a spicy food consumption trend, but the prevalence of hemorrhoids is still alarmingly high.

A previous national survey showed that the provinces with the highest hemorrhoid prevalence in my country are Hunan (76.64%), Guangdong (67.42%), Qinghai (63.73%), Guizhou (61.54%), Heilongjiang (59.17%), and Inner Mongolia (59.03%).

Therefore, if you want to find a suitable cause for your hemorrhoids, it is not only about whether you eat spicy food, but also there are many common factors to pay attention to:

● Age and occupation factors;

● Reasons due to human physiological structure;

● Work and lifestyle (regularity of life, sleep time, physical exercise, work environment);

● Eating habits (water drinking, fruit and vegetable intake, spicy food, smoking, drinking);

● Whether the patient has long-term intestinal diseases or infectious diseases;

● Bowel habits (time of bowel movement, excessive straining during bowel movement, ignoring or suppressing the urge to defecate).

It is somewhat difficult, but not impossible.

The premise is that your hemorrhoids meet the following conditions:

1. The degree of hemorrhoidal lesions is relatively mild, with only blood streaks or blood dripping after defecation, which can stop on its own, and there is no symptom such as hemorrhoid prolapse;

2. Only perianal itching, foreign body sensation after defecation, and slight swelling in the anus will occur. The condition will not affect the patient's daily life.

If the hemorrhoids are not serious as mentioned above, then they may improve naturally. However, if the condition worsens, you must seek medical attention immediately.

Having said that, even if hemorrhoids are likely to heal on their own, you can't just wait and see. You still need to take some general treatment measures, such as:

● Change your diet. Take in enough fiber in your daily diet, eat more fruits and vegetables, reduce the intake of spicy food, tobacco and alcohol, and avoid overeating;

● Develop good toilet habits. Avoid taking too long to go to the toilet, straining too hard during bowel movements, or holding back the urge to defecate for too long;

● Pay attention to anal hygiene. Use warm water to clean the anus to relieve symptoms and reduce swelling quickly.

● Exercise regularly and sit less. Avoid long-term sitting, which will increase the burden on the anus. Exercise more to strengthen the support of the lower body muscles and promote blood circulation.

The symptom of blood in the stool does not necessarily mean hemorrhoids, it may also be anal fissure.

If anal fissures occur frequently, it is easy to form a bulge around the anus. Many people confuse it with hemorrhoids, but these two diseases are actually completely different, so you need to be careful to distinguish them:

● Hemorrhoids have little or no pain in the early stages of defecation, but anal fissures have obvious pain in the early stages;

● Hemorrhoids often cause blood in the stool, while anal fissures only cause blood in the stool occasionally;

● When hemorrhoids are severe, you can directly feel the bulge protruding from the anus, but in the later stages of anal fissure, pain is still the main symptom and there may not be a bulge.

Now everyone's life pace is very fast

I don't control my daily routine and diet.

Often sit for a whole day

If you don't pay attention, you may get hemorrhoids easily.

For your own chrysanthemum health

Life should be more sophisticated

If hemorrhoids are more severe

Don't delay, brave enough to enter the anorectal department
