Recently, a piece of news has attracted attention - as Beijing increases its efforts to develop and apply drones in cultural and tourism scenarios, in the future, tourists may be able to drink coffee delivered by drones at the Badaling Great Wall. Some people support this news, some people oppose it, but more people are looking forward to it. Imagine that on a hot summer day, an exhausted tourist opens his phone to order a takeaway, and not long after, a drone descends from the sky and delivers a cup of iced coffee to him. This movie-like scene makes people want to experience it for themselves. If we extend this scenario, the situation becomes even more interesting. For example, after an order is sent from the Great Wall, big data pushes it to the nearest coffee shop at the foot of the mountain in just one second. The "electronic barista" in the shop makes a standard cup of iced American coffee in a few minutes, hands it to the delivery robot, and sends it to the drone pickup point. After picking up the coffee, the "electronic deliveryman" who descended from the sky disappears without a trace in the blink of an eye... In other words, except for the final consumer, the entire order production process is completed by robots, which makes the sense of science fiction even stronger. Although these are just my imagination, there are similar practical cases. Nowadays, "electronic baristas" are not uncommon, and food delivery software has long realized big data dispatching. Food delivery robots frequently shuttle in hotels, shopping malls and office buildings, and drone delivery has also landed in cities such as Shenzhen. It can be said that with the advancement of science and technology and the improvement of social development, it has become a development trend to let more robots become service providers. When technology has the ability to deeply participate in life, people always have high hopes for it. For example, when drones can be used for commercial delivery, what else do people hope it can deliver besides coffee? Perhaps it is urgently needed iodine, saline and band-aids after an injury, or it may be a fully charged power bank, or it may be a pair of comfortable sports shoes... In addition to the consumption level, we may hope that drones can become the "porters" of the new era, transporting various materials to the top of the cliffs and mountains, and we also hope that drones can become the "sanitation workers" of the new era, bringing pieces of garbage from the top of the white clouds back to the garbage treatment plant... Safety, convenience and efficiency are typical characteristics of the civil aviation industry, and the same is true for the low-altitude industry. Through increasingly rich application scenarios, we can see that the public has high hopes for the low-altitude industry, that is, to improve the efficiency of urban operations and reduce the cost of commodity transportation. In this "one rise and one fall", many industries and workers will have new options. For example, when deliverymen no longer need to pick up meals over long distances and only need to be responsible for delivery around drone service stations, they may get more flexible work arrangements. It can be seen that in addition to coffee and takeout, we hope that the low-altitude economy can bring greater profit margins to companies, provide better working conditions for workers, and provide consumers with better services and higher cost-effectiveness. |
