"Haikei No. 1" is Asia's first cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO) independently designed and built by China. Its launch marks a major breakthrough in China's key technologies in independent design and construction of deepwater oil and gas equipment.

The main features of the "Anemone No. 1" include its cylindrical structure, maximum oil storage capacity of 60,000 tons, design life of 30 years, and can operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to dock. Its main deck has a maximum diameter of 90 meters, an area equivalent to 13 standard basketball courts, a height of nearly 30 floors, and a total weight equivalent to 30,000 cars.

During the loading process, the "Anemone No. 1" adopted the method of "big ship carrying small boats" and was transported by semi-submersible transport vessels to shorten the voyage and reduce transportation risks. The loading process is technically difficult and requires close cooperation of 6 port tugboats, with positioning accuracy reaching millimeter level.

After the departure, the "Anemone 1" will go to the Pearl River Mouth Basin, more than 1,200 nautical miles away from Qingdao, for tieback installation. It will be towed by 12 mooring cables with a length of 2,570 meters, floating on the sea at a depth of 324 meters, and can process about 5,600 tons of crude oil per day. This innovative "deepwater jacket platform + cylindrical FPSO" development model will provide a new solution for the efficient development of my country's deepwater oil and gas fields.

1. Towing to an open sea area: First, four tugboats towed the "Anemone 1" to an open sea area, and at the same time, the stability and posture during the towing process were ensured by adding water ballasting to the cabin.

2. The transport ship dives to the designed depth: The transport ship "gains its footing" by dropping anchor, and the cabin is filled with water ballasted and dives to the designed depth to ensure that there will be no collision with the "Anemone No. 1" during the loading process.

3. Precision positioning system: With the cooperation of the tugboat, the working boat uses the precision positioning system to "thread the needle" and tow the "Anemone No. 1" to the designed position of the transport ship.

4. Loading completed: The transport ship discharges the ballast water and floats up, picks up the "Anemone No. 1" and completes the loading operation.
