Today (February 4)

It is the seventh day of the Spring Festival holiday

Return traffic and passenger flow peaks are gradually arriving across the country

How's the weather on the return trip?

Today (February 4), the rain and snow weather has reduced in most parts of China , but heavy snowfall may occur in some parts of Northeast China and Tibet . Please pay attention to traffic safety when returning during the Spring Festival travel rush.

Under the pressure of cold air, the temperature in most parts of the north will remain low . In the next week or so, the highest temperature in many places in the northwest will hover around freezing point, most places in North China will be less than 5℃, and the highest temperature in many places in the northeast will be less than -10℃.

The temperature in the south fluctuates greatly , and the temperature in many places will switch between high and low following the rhythm of the coming and going of cold air and rainy weather. Today (February 4), as the rainfall decreases, the maximum temperature in Jianghuai, Jiangnan and other places has risen to above 10°C. However, starting from February 5, as the warm and humid air flow strengthens, there will be another large-scale precipitation process in the south . The precipitation range is relatively wide from February 6 to 7, and there will be light rain in the areas south of the Yangtze River. On the 8th, the maximum temperature in many places in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River will drop to less than 5°C. By February 8-9, this round of precipitation will gradually end, and most parts of the country will have little rain and snow again.

What impact will it have on national highway traffic?

Some roads in northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and eastern Jilin, central and eastern Heilongjiang, Shandong Peninsula, southern Sichuan, western Tibet, and northern Xinjiang are affected by snowfall or sleet, with a high risk of slippery roads, ice, and snow accumulation ;

Some roads in eastern Fujian, southwestern Hubei, southwestern Guangdong, southern Guangxi, Hainan Island, eastern Southwest China, northeastern Yunnan and other places are affected by rainfall, and the risk of slippery roads is high;

Local roads in southern Jiangsu, central and southeastern Anhui, western Jiangxi, southwestern Henan, central Hubei, eastern Hunan, central and southern Chongqing, eastern Sichuan, southeastern Yunnan, and northern Xinjiang need to guard against the impact of low visibility on traffic.
