As my country's stimulus policies gradually take effect, the import and export of electronic information products has shown a growth trend. Data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology showed that in June, the export value of electronic information products was US$60.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%; the import value was US$42.9 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%. The decline in both imports and exports has narrowed.

From January to June, my country's total import and export of electronic information products was US$604.5 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 6.9%; the home audio-visual industry achieved sales output value of 326 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%.

Affected by the World Cup, the domestic market of the home audio-visual industry showed a rapid rebound. In June, the domestic sales and export delivery values ​​of the home audio-visual industry increased by 12.1% and 11.1% respectively, up 18.9 and 7.4 percentage points respectively from May.

The home appliance industry is facing a turning point in its development. In the first half of the year, home appliance sales increased by 5.3% year-on-year, and the growth rate slowed down by 6.2 percentage points year-on-year, showing a low and stable trend. Among them, affected by energy-saving policies and the real estate market, color TV companies as a whole are in the red, and most of their sales targets have not been achieved. The downward trend may continue in the future.

According to the home appliance sales data released by the Ministry of Commerce in the first half of 2014 , the overall sales performance of home appliance enterprises was mediocre due to multiple factors such as the macroeconomic environment, the downturn in the property market, and the early release of consumption potential. In the first half of the year, the home appliance market seemed to be lively, but in fact the growth rate was slower than in previous years. Compared with black appliances, white appliances performed slightly better. Industry insiders said that the survival of the fittest in the home appliance industry will be further intensified, which further prompted enterprises to focus on product research and development and upgrading.

Home appliance companies are also transforming, but the effect of the transformation has not yet emerged. Sichuan Changhong, which has made great efforts to transform and upgrade, has paid a heavy price. Sichuan Changhong expects that its operating performance from January to June 2014 will turn from profit to loss, and the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company will be a loss of 170 million to 190 million yuan, a sharp decline from the same period last year. Industry insiders believe that Changhong's intelligent transformation and upgrading has accelerated, and huge investment in R&D and promotion has not received a response from the market.
